This property is in an excellent location for walking to Uzes and walks on the mountain heath and woodland. The garden is wonderful and you hear lots of bird song. The property is remote and accessed along an uneven track. We had trouble with the electricity cutting out, lots of big flies and leaks in some rooms when it rained hard.

We are a family with two children, and this was honestly one of the best holidays of our lives. The house is absolutely wonderful, set in a beautiful, peaceful location hidden away from the crowds. You get the best of both worlds: complete immersion in nature while still being just a short drive from Uzès and many amazing places to explore.Everything matched the description perfectly.Of course, if you look hard enough, you can always find small imperfections. But this is not the right place for someone expecting a standard resort hotel with polished perfection. This house has a soul. It has warmth, character, and a unique atmosphere that more than makes up for any tiny inconveniences. We left with wonderful memories, and for the first time ever, we’re actually thinking about coming back to the same place next year instead of discovering somewhere new. That probably says more than anything else.Thank you for sharing such a special place with us!
