We loved our time just on the edge of the little downtown in Girdwood. We were here for a hiking elopement and it was the perfect place to come home to.

This condo was a wonderful place to stay. The hot tub had the cleanest water that we have ever seen! The condo was very clean overall and had a well supplied assortment of kitchenware. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and had ample bedding. The couches were very comfortable. It is nice that it is on the bottom floor to make carrying supplies and luggage easier. The location is perfect, a short walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. It is less than one hour to Anchorage or Whittier. There are several hikes nearby that are incredible, such as Winner Creek. I would definitely stay in this condo again.

Great place

Apartment is very nice. Smells good, clean, nice comfy furniture and beds. Appliances are very nice and kitchen is well stocked with all cooking needs. Only complaint is I couldnt find any extra blankets.

The property was as described. No issues at all. Convenient location and quiet. Only a few minutes to the ski hill and nice view from the hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

Property was great! The only advice I’d give is some cleanup around hot tub; webs and dirt. I I’ve in the mountains, too. Dust and dirt pile up outside!

Family Gathering Girdwood

We had 3 homes rented in the Girdwood area. My daughter & her fiancé as well as my brother and his girlfriend stayed at this condo. The rustic exterior belied the very nice condo. It was perfect for the 4 of them. I know the hot tub was used and everything essential to prepare breakfasts in the kitchen or walk across the street to The Grind, an adorable, eclectic coffee shop that we frequented while there (great matcha & chai lattes for sure & super nice staff). Views are amazing!!! There was some new construction the last few days that was a bit noisy. Hosts are very responsive & helpful. There is no A/C, which I doubt there seldom is in Alaska, but when the temps reached sunny and 71, the condo was a bit warm. all in all a great stay & would rent this place again. It was the lesser expensive of the 3 places I rented so a good value for your money.

Exactly as advertised, but check in difficult

The condo was very nice and truly spotless. Kitchen was very well equipped. The only negative was check in instructions weren’t available on VRBO until AFTER the 4:00pm check in time, which was frustrating, as we we were supposed to to have them 3 days in advance. Despite two requests for check in directions, after the promised date, they were finally available on VRBO at 4:10pm, day of check in, which was nerve racking. We then found ourselves standing in front of a locked door, trying to decipher instructions on a cell phone., which listed first the door to enter, and location of the condo within the building, then went on to say the combinations for the door, spa and key box were all the same. We finally figured out where the combination box was and that we needed to FIRST get the key from the box, then proceed with directions. If we had been provided directions 3 days in advance as promised we could have printed off and figured out the sequence in advance.. With several VRBO reserved for our 3 week Alaska trip, this was the ONLY one who failed to provide instructions. Other than that, the unit was very nice and I would reserve it again.

This was a great find for our family of four - one bedroom with 2 twin beds and one with a king, and two bathrooms. The unit was very well stocked, and included laundry and a hot tub. Location was excellent, in easy walking distance of the grocery store and several restaurants. Finishings were upscale and the beds and furniture were comfortable. Owner was very communicative by message and we had no issues and a very fun stay in the area.

Alyeska Ski Adventure

The condo is approx one mile from the nearest lift (where there is free parking). I loved the location in the gritty little town of Girdwood. There are good pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. The condo is fairly large and has a good layout. The hot tub on the porch is a very nice touch. Kitchen is well appointed. Beds are comfy and bathrooms are very nice. Most of all, Gina was great. Good communicator and she made nice recommendations! We had a great time there and highly recommend. Gridwood

Big kitchen, very well stocked with everything you need but only breakfast counter to sit at. No table and chairs. Main bathroom is huge but no grap bars in tub/shower. Hot tub is the best! Sidewalk needs repair. Cracks and high spots. Be careful. All in all we enjoyed are stay.

Good times in Girdwood

Our family of 4 wrapped up a 10-day trip to Alaska with a 3-night stay in Girdwood, and we’re very happy that we chose this great condo! There’s lots of space, it’s within walking distance to a coffee shop, grocery store, and restaurants, and the hot tub sealed the deal! We’d definitely look to stay here again on our next stop in Girdwood.
