The bunker haus was clean, the hot tub was awesome. The host was great and left a little note for us along with wine and snacks. The stay overall was great and we will be back again. We would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars
The house was lovely and cute as it could be. The kitchen had everything I needed for a weekend away. The host was easy to contact and quick to respond to a minor issue with the tv. I hope to be back in the fall!
Lovely little home! Check in was easy and the hosts were very responsive. Everything was clean and arranged in ways that made the room feel spacious. The bedding and towels were all perfectly white and still smelled like detergent. The hot tub was also amazing after a long day of travel and adventure. This place was exactly what we wanted for our trip to the Twisted Sisters - a cozy space where we could relax and rest after adventuring all day.
It was so cozy and relaxing!! I loved the welcome note and basket with breakfast foods, snacks, and a bottle of wine! The outdoor area in the back was awesome! Will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely weekend.
It was very nice and comfortable the bed was perfect for me and it was set up just right. They also had a special touch with a snack tray that I thought added a very nice personal touch.
We had such a quiet and comfortable evening! It was exactly what we were looking for Thank you to our host for the wine and snacks! You have a beautiful and charming casita!
Great place for 2 to stay and is exactly as advertised in the site. Very comfortable, great location if planning a bike ride or just wanting to get away from the city for a while. We had a nice time and was great to get back to the bunker house after running around the hill country all day. We will definitely stay here again.
Super cozy and clean little cabin on main street Medina. Pablo & Rosy were fantastic hosts, and left some yummy snacks for me and my partner to enjoy during our stay. The hot tub was super clean & it was just a nice, quiet hill country retreat. Definitely will be back!
The place was adorable and clean! Pablo was quick to respond to messages and gave us a heads up about what would be available in town. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Thanks Anna! You are always welcome to visit our area again.
Summer is a great time to cool off at the Medina River and also see wonderful historic performances and live music in Bandera.
This was the perfect quiet, romantic getaway. We enjoyed the amenities and hospitality of our hosts. This is a cement block building so it retains the heat, took a little while to cool down. But even with that we will be returning.
Great location, especially if you're on a motorcycle. It was a bike rally weekend which made for good entertainment, but by 7pm it was still and quiet. The house only has a microwave, but was clean and stocked. They had a full snack tray that was a nice touch. The only complaint was that they hadn't gotten to the landscaping yet so the grass was tall. Otherwise, it was somewhere I'd consider again if I was in the area.
This is a delightful property. Though I was the only person in the property, it would have been great for a couple. The managers/owners left some treats and drinks which hit the spot after my trail runs in the nearby state parks. A special treat was up close encounters with deer in the property backyard. I mean a lot of deer! When I come back to the hill country for another vacation, I will be asking to stay in this property. You won't be disappointed.

Why they chose this property
After researching all four regions of the Texas Hill Country, we found this area such a wonderful and unique, that seems to still have a lot of it's old fashioned charm. Local folks here are very friendly and the natural beauty of the hills and Medina River wrapped up the whole package.
What makes this property unique
Only 48 miles from our daily "city" home. Medina is relatively close and easily accessible. The night skies in Medina are absolutely gorgeous, as you can see the Milky Way and stars you normally don't see in the big city.
The hills and the river are therapeutic and relieve city stress!
The Apple Store's famous 4 lb. apple pie is amazing!
The Core Coffee House is such a wonderful place to visit and Great coffee too!
"Medina Community Library" - "Biggest little library in Texas", has a great number of books and research material, especially over Texas history & genealogy. Pretty soon will have a World Class, award winning designed annex that will an excellent conference room and culinary educative facility.
