We both enjoy the Texas Hill Country and it's history. Can't live without family, friends, church, dreams & purpose in life. I love Mexican, Caribbean, Thai, and American food.
We enjoy Classic old movies with Bing, Hope, Martin, Lewis, Doris Day, Hudson, Bogart, etc.

Our favorite vacation destination is the Texas Hill Country, South Padre Island, Sarasota, Florida, Nashville, Tennessee, Nova Scotia.

Quality time together as family is worth more than gold. We enjoy our time at our cottage and feel honored to share it with other families.

Why they chose this property

We have traveled the Hill Country region for many years and stumbled upon this property in 2017. Located between Bandera and Kerrville. Medina has been a
hidden gem since 1865 and a peaceful throwback to an era akin to Mayberry and Andy Griffin. Maybe HGTV had something to do with our endeavor, or inspired us to do a restoration of this diamond in the rough. It's been an ongoing process with ongoing room for improvement. We are proud and glad to share our cottages with families and friends!

What makes this property unique

Medina is located in the upper Medina River valley, in the geologic region of the Texas Hill Country Southwest region. Set within the hills we have history of early settlers around 1865. The Medina River crosses town and offers crystal clear cool water all year long. The local agriculture is cattle, goat ranching and apple orchards. Friendly folks are the real assets here and there are a few shops in town where you can experience them.
The community has 4 churches, 1 volunteer fire department, 1 coffee shop, 1 quilt shop, 1 public library, 1 beauty shop, 1 BBQ restaurant, 1 apple orchard, 2 convenience stores and 1 Elementary/Middle/High school on one campus. You can hear the high school football games in the fall, very nostalgic experience.
