Our Tahoe home is perfect for special vacations where you want all of your family and friends in a single location. You will love the breathtaking views from the open kitchen and family room with ample space for every social occasion, the 45 foot upper and lower decks which are perfect for hosting large brunches and cookouts, the kids will love the dedicated game room with pool/ping pong table combo and game station, and you'll fall in love with hot tubbing under the stars with everyone you care about in a secluded forest setting. Plus you can walk to everything you love in downtown Tahoe city and Commons beach!

Our 2000 sqft house has luxurious rustic wood furnishings, a flagstone faced wood burning fireplace, new comfortable bedding & mattresses, high speed wireless internet (with Wifi6 wireless gaming router), brand new 65" QLED 4K HDR TV's in both living rooms and in all the bedrooms (43" 4k hdr in bedrooms - new pix coming soon), and an upgraded sports package from directv with service in every room.

Also available is a large 8 person 500 gallon HOT TUB under the stars. Our bottom floor has a wet bar, a 65 inch 4K hdr TV with a Playstation 4 and a combo ping pong/pool table which is ideal for multiple families. All of the bedrooms received top of the line linens and double pane windows with privacy treatments.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, this cabin is perfect for a quiet getaway, honeymoon or family outing! We strongly discourage large loud groups out of consideration for your year around neighbors. NO Bachelor or Bachelorette parties or wedding receptions,

Out of consideration for our neighbors, absolutely no loud noise or hot tubbing is allowed after 10pm. Your security deposit will be forfeited if we get a noise complaint from the neighbors.

Both bathrooms were recently remodeled and upgraded with new knotty pine vanities, copper sinks, and stone tiles with mosaic inlays.

With easy and wide road access, a large flat parking lot, close proximity to many great restaurants, shops, hiking and biking trails, lake, golf course, and more, this cabin is the perfect vacation home for small or large groups. 5 minute walk to Fitness center (day/week passes, yoga, email for more info)

This Home is conveniently located within walking distance from Tahoe city, and is just 100 feet from a hiking/snowshoe trail and a downhill biking trail (Paige Meadows Trailhead). It is also a 5-minute drive from Squaw and Alpine Meadows.

Our family loved the deck, game room, and hot tub. Kitchen was pretty well equipped to cook for a group. Location great for outings to Truckee, Tahoe City, and other sites around the lake, including easy access to bike path and trails. The loft sleeping space didn't work for our group.

Great House for a Group

A group of friends and I rented this home to stay for a long weekend around a Tahoe wedding. The house is great and sleeps quite a few people with two full floors of social space and back decks. The view of the pines and mountains from the back deck is amazing. We'd definitely stay again.

Great Location & Clean/Spacious/Cozy Home

We love the house and it's great for all times of year. Very close to Tahoe City shops, bars/restaurants, the lake/beach, and grocery stores. The house is quite big and spacious, yet still feels cozy and has a perfect cabin feel. The owner, Herb, has been wonderful to work with and is always quick to respond and help (if needed). Great Vacation

We’ve been vacationing in Tahoe for 30 years with our (now grown) kids and we all agreed this is our favorite place yet. It’s the perfect cross between “cabin in the woods” and “all the comforts of home”. It’s in a great location and was just the right size for our family of 6 adults. Also loved the privacy and forest view plus a great trailhead just up the street. We’ll be back.

Cozy home + great location!

A perfect home for a mid-large family vacation. The location of this home is close to downtown Tahoe City. The patio has a large table where we all got to sit together to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The home is taken care of and clean. They have a good size hotub and pingpong/pool table. The owners were awesome to work with - fast communication and very accomadating. We all have said we would stay there again.

Great House, Excellent Location

The house had everything a family or group would need from the ping pong and pool table to the all the right kitchen utensils for making a big dinner. The location was great with trails literally out the front door (turn right out of the driveway and link up with the dirt track at the end of the road). Quiet neighborhood with full pine forest views (and smell) from both decks. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Family Tahoe trip

We were a group of 10 adults and 3 toddlers. The house fit our group very well and everyone enjoyed the time together. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything we needed and more! The Owner was very nice and very responsive to any questions/concerns we had and communication was very easy. The beds were all very comfortable with nice sheets and comforters. Perfect house for two families!

This house has plenty of space and bedrooms for two families. We enjoyed having the game room with table tennis, pool, a TV and gaming system where the kids could play together. There is a dining table for 10 and lots of seating in the family room. The hot tub has a beautiful view of the trees and was very well maintained. The location is close to the lake, restaurants and skiing. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had.

Wonderful Family Weekend!

I booked this fabulous house for my half century birthday weekend celebration with my family, including my parents, partner, kids and nephew. The house was perfect for our group and I love that all ten of us could sit together at the table to eat and play games. We had a pool tournament as well and most of us enjoyed the hot tub. Everyone had their own private sleeping space, and the couch was big enough for us to watch the Chiefs beat the Broncos! 🏈 The kitchen had cooking supplies and Safeway is very close by. The beach and shops and restaurants are a short walk (or drive) away and the neighborhood is really nice. Matt, your host, is very responsive and wants you to have a great time at his lovely home! Would stay here again!!

Just what we needed

The property worked perfect for 11 family members and 2 dogs spending Thanksgiving weekend in the mountains. Beds were comfortable, both bathrooms have been updated and are roomy. The kitchen is dated and small but we were able to make it work. The dining table handled all 11 of us easily. The hot tub felt good at the days end. Great snow sledding hill at the end of the street. We wish we could have found a vacuum cleaner, broom and mop. If you are looking for an older- roomy house this will fit the bill. Owner was great and easy to work with. Would rent again.

Great Location and lots of Room!

Had a great stay just a bit south of Tahoe City. Very close to many activities and the lake. The home is well kept and has everything you need to feel right at home. We like cooking and BBQing while we are on vacation and the Kitchen and BBQ were just perfect. The Cabin has a great view off the very large back deck and seats 12 to 15 for meals if you need more room the spacious dining table indoors seats another 8 to 10. Lots of room to sleep and play games with the upstairs downstairs layout. With hicking, paddle boarding, river float and Tahoe City close you can't go wrong here. My family and extended family (12 ) will love to stay here again. We didn't have enough time to try the ropes course at Granlabakken and will plan early next year. Wonderful host and property!

Very comfortable house with lots of space- perfect for large group!

We stayed here in mid September with a group of 12- 6 adults and 6 young kids. The house was awesome! There is a ton of seating- multiple couches upstairs and down, a huge dining room table, another huge table on the deck and enough rooms/beds that we were able to stretch out comfortably. There is also an amazing wooded trail starting just a few houses up that provided HOURS of entertainment for our kids. The kitchen was totally stocked- we brought pans/knives/etc that we didn't need. There is also a shelving unit full of games in the living room that the grown ups used every night. All in all, it was a perfect stay!

The house was perfect for our large group. Plenty of room for everyone. Patio was the place to be.

We had a wonderful time. When we were home we spent our time out on the large deck which sat all of us for every meal. We were close to what we wanted to do. Our reason for going was for the 4th of July holiday. This by far was the best fireworks show I've seen in a long time. The house was surrounded by pine trees and nature. Didn't see any bears but we knew he came as he left his mark on the garbage bin. Our 14 year old was thrilled to have a basketball hoop as he was out there playing while we were home. I would highly recommend this place to a large group. We would consider this place again when we head to Tahoe City.

Location, location, location!

This house was just minutes away from Truckee River play, Tahoe beaches, hiking, Tahoe City farmers‘ market, Welcome Center, Gatekeepers‘ Museum, and shopping. In a quiet neighborhood with plenty of off-street parking, the house gave us generous and comfortable space for our family of eight adults and two young grandchildren to spend a fabulous week together. Two large indoor gathering spaces, one up, one down. The ping pong/pool table entertained us in the evenings after our days out exploring and sharing great family dinners on the upper deck. Small but very adequate bedrooms; comfortable beds for our tall family. Kitchen well stocked for cooking and serving meals. Hot tub very nice. Matt very pleasant and quick in our communications, and his written instructions for everything in the house were very clear and helpful.

We had a wonderful time here. Close to all we wanted to do. There were a few maintenance issues, but Matt answered our messages quickly and is taking appropriate action. The upper deck is large, with plenty of table seating. We ate most of our meals outside!! Good Wi-Fi access. Great place to stay!!
