Review of Unit 448 = Our Vacation Stay 3/1 through 4/1, 2024
Rating Details:
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Reviewer Comments:
We were somewhat disappointed that the unit was not really cleaned well when we arrived. In fact, we had to buy a sponge mop (left it in the unit for future use) because kitchen and other downstairs area floors were dirty. The upstairs bedroom windows (front and back) did not have screens so we were unable to open windows to enjoy the pleasant weather and not have to use air conditioning. After we addressed this with office,however, the windows were measured, screens were fabricated and they were installed. The unit did not have a broom or dustpan so that we could sweep the floors of any sand tracked in from the beach. However, the office maintenance staff brought the tools over after we notified them. In fact, they were very accommodating to our needs whenever we asked. The balcony furniture was old, dirty and uncomfortable to sit on. Owner should consider a new set for renters as it would enhance the overall appearance to a potential guest renter. The unit location itself was appreciated as we could see the ocean from the balcony. If issues mentioned above are addressed, we would definitely recommend it to a friend. Since we know the area very well and have both rented and owned for many years at Summerhouse, we definitely would plan to return in the future.
