About this property

Tier 2. Best Ocean view in Summerhouse - both downstairs and in the Master Bedroom. Kitchen window and guest bedroom look out to Matanzas inlet and intracoastal waterway. This delightful townhouse has been completely updated and remodeled. 2 bedroom / 2.5 bath townhouse features a spacious King bed in the Master bedroom. 2nd bedroom has two twins. There are two TV's (Master bedroom and living room). DVD. Tile floors downstairs and new wood floors on stairs and all upstairs. Wireless internet access. The views are incredible! At Summerhouse we have 4 temperature regulated pools to choose from on property making it comfortable to swim all year round! There are also four tennis courts, two racquetball courts and one pickleball court. We have two grilling areas and two playgrounds for the kids conveniently located at either end of the property. Our common area around the pools are covered with luscious well-maintained grass with a short walk to the beach. Our rental unit has a friendly front office staff and maintenance on site to help resolve any problem quickly if they should arise. We have a small library and a gym available during normal business hours for your convenience.

SummerHouse is a wonderful place, unit 233 was not my favorite.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I have been coming to Summrhouse for about 12 years. Most years we visit twice. I've stayed in many different units. This one was not one of my favorites. It definitely looks better in pictures than in person. Unit 233 had a general feeling of being worn. It wasn't necessarily dirty, but it did not feel clean either. The vacuum in the unit almost seemed like a childs toy and there was no broom. The shower in the master bath has no door, so the bathroom floor gets wet every time you shower. The kitchen was scarce, you definitely could not have prepared a meal with what was available. Summerhouse as a whole is a wonderful place. It definitely is a home away from home for us. This specific unit however has the feeling of a cheaply kept income property.

Great Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a sudden change of plans and I called Summerhouse to book for same day arrival. They were so helpful. Our 2 bedroom townhouse was clean and beautiful. This is our third year vacationing here. We had a small maintenance issue and the staff went above and beyond to fix it. We love the pool and beach access. It was a great trip, thank you Summerhouse.

Summer 2023 Unit 233

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are very disappointed in our stay. Light fixtures&wall outlets aren't installed properly&dangerous After our first night we noticed that he heating element in the oven was not working and called to let the office know. They told us someone would be out at 9am to look at it. No one came or called, we had to call the office at 10:30 for an update which we realized that they never scheduled for maintenance to come since maintenance was not even at work yet. Finally around lunch time someone came and agreed it was the heating element and told us the office manager will be in contact with us regarding a solution. I had to go to the office before closing around 4:45 to get an update since no one had called or emailed yet. We have young children and prepared our meals and most of which required an oven to cook it. When I got to the office it took talking to 3 people to find someone who know about our problem and they dismissed the concern for no oven. Another lady in the office then took over and went to the office manager asking for a solution for us. The office manager then gave us a key to another condo (down a flight of stairs, across the parking lot in another building, and up a flight of stairs) to use the stove. "Only use the stove/oven nothing else because we are not paying 2 cleaning fees." This was not ideal and not only that no one the rest of the week called, emailed, or checked in to see if this was a suitable solution for our family. Because of not wanting to waste hours cooking a 20-30 meal or dirtying another condo we ordered food and bought more groceries we could cook on the stove top. The purpose of a condo unit like this is the convenience for families not to have to eat out but to prepare meals. We had local friends/family visit us (day visit) and everyone of them said the office staff was rude to them when they went to get their parking pass. 4 different families on 4 different days.

Summerhouse Reunion

Best place on Crescent Beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has been vacationing at Summerhouse for over 30 years, and we love it! It’s beautifully landscaped, well maintained, and friendly.This condo was particularly lovely. It is nicely updated, very clean, has a lovely view! Some nice changes would be removing the wall in the kitchen near the front door to make more room in the kitchen, a couple of mattress toppers, like the one in the master, for the twin beds in the second bedroom would be a welcome addition as they weren’t comfortable. Beach chairs would be great as well. We enjoyed dining at the Conch House, Salt Water Cowboys, and Osprey Tacos! Overall, we loved it, and will be returning to this unit next year for our family reunion on the beach!
