Beautiful Venue But......Security Is An Issue!!

The actual venue was really clean. And the staff was really great. The major concern we had was one of the nights (my birthday) we found a women in our room! When we returned our keys did not work. We were give 3 sets of keys to try and none of those worked. Ron (who was really great) was able to open the door with a master key (not the electronic type but a manual key) and the door opened but only enough for us to see the security latch was on. A lady answered and told us that someone had given her a key to use the room. All of our items were thrown about. She was attempting to take our passports. The cops were called and she was taken to jail on a warrant. Lucky nothing was missing. We were moved to another room but we were on edge the remained of our stay. We didn't venture out the last two days we were in town and had a very difficult time sleeping. I did speak with the manager and she could not give us a reason as to how or why this happened. She offered a courtesy on the room fee but was not able to do it on her end. Redirected me to VRBO, which is whom I booked the room with.
