We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay in our neat apartment and appreciated the peaceful and secure neighborhood. It’s wonderful to know that the convenient access to the train and nearby coffee shops made your exploration of Boston even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another long weekend soon, Chris!
This rental was very cozy, and located perfectly for our needs. The whole experience was seamless, from booking and check-in right through checkout. Great all around, definitely would stay again and recommend.
The property was in the perfect location for access to Longwood Medical Area and the neighborhood felt safe. The owner had great communication. The check in process was easy. The property was clean. The living room area is comfy with many TV offerings. However, the minute you open the door, you are hit with a strong smell of cat urine. The property is great otherwise, but this will keep me from renting it again. I asked the management company if they would consider reducing the cleaning fee I was charged, and they refused.

Mary Ellen, we’re glad the location, safety, cleanliness, and overall comfort of the apartment supported your visit, and that communication and check-in were smooth throughout your stay.
We first learned of the odor concern the day before checkout. Had we been notified earlier, we would have immediately sent our team to investigate and address it in real time — that’s always our preference, so issues don’t linger. Timely communication allows us to act quickly and ensure the space remains comfortable throughout a stay.
Regarding the cleaning fee, this reflects the standard professional preparation and servicing required for every reservation and is applied consistently. We appreciate you staying with us and are glad the apartment otherwise worked well for your time near Longwood.
Stay well.
The apartment was clean and cozy. It's in a very peaceful neighborhood. 20 minute walk to Fenway. The host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to my messages. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to the area.
The apartment is old and has its quirks but the location was excellent for us and during a cold December there was plenty of heat.

Nice little apartment, with very comfortable bed, nice sofa to watch a number of streaming channels in the living room. Very close to Harvard Medical School, but at the same time in a residential area that made it very quiet. Great overall
It's an old property, but the apartment is well appointed, just as described in the photos. Bed on the soft side for us. We didn't need to, but Kitchen has everything you need if you need to cook a meal. Walkable to Brookline Village and to the MFA. Easy check in and out and a great option for a parking space if you need one.

Mouse poop and towed
Fine, but an older building, and expect that if anything goes wrong, you won’t have help. Water stains, mouse poop on day 2, dirty laundry room, and unguaranteed parking, despite Brookline not allowing street parking. We paid for parking, parked in many of the unmarked spaces, and found out we were towed at 9:45pm. We were there for multiple nights and had never inhibited parking for residents; there were many spaces available. It appeared to be a lot-pay set up as well due to lack of signage, except for spot hero spots. Prior to tow, nobody knocked on our door, and nobody called, despite it being very evident that we were the only new car in the lot. According to mgmt, we were supposed to be in a certain marked spot, which there were only a few of those, and we assumed it was for the spot hero business or for a premium paying long term resident. They sent us this info after we paid, which I was not looking for, since lack of signage and plenty of available parking for multiple nights kind of made it look like just a standard lot set-up. We even interacted with multiple residents in the parking lot and had no issue. At the end of the day, management apologized for the “inconvenience” but wouldn’t refund the $15 parking. What was the practical purpose of the tow if we paid, didn’t park “exactly” where we were supposed to, but didn’t inhibit resident parking? Just feels desperate for cash to me, and not a business I trust to reside at.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review Ashley, but we must address the inaccuracies in your account.
First and foremost, the parking situation you described is entirely a result of not following the very clear, detailed instructions we provide. The vast majority of our guests read and understand these directions, which outline the assigned, numbered space for the unit. Each tenant at his building has their own numbered space, which is clearly outlined in both our private messaging to you as well as the digital and physical welcome packets given. There is no ambiguity, and your blind misunderstanding of the parking setup doesn’t change that. Claiming there was no signage or that you thought it worked like a general “lot-pay setup” really has no bearing. We're perplexed at your inability to take responsibility for making incorrect assumptions without referring to the many instructions provided. Your vehicle being towed is an outcome of your negligence and choosing to park wherever you pleased, which obviously impacts the other residents; that you were able to successfully park in other resident spots any previous nights without getting towed is simply a matter of luck.
As for your observations about the shared building areas, such as any possible mouse droppings, water stains, or the state of the laundry room, we do sympathize. While we don’t manage the building itself, we appreciate such guest feedback as it helps convey these concerns with the company that manages the property, so we may impress upon them to raise the bar. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards for the apartment itself, and it’s frustrating when issues in the common areas impact our guests’ experience, as most of the buildings we work with have exceptional property managers. We appreciate your input and will continue to advocate for improvements to these shared spaces where needed.
Quiet very clean neighborhood close to anywhere you want to go.

Location ok, but beware of "T" Green Line trolley trains right behind apt. Older but clean apt unit. Kitch was updated and well appointed. But a broken drawer in bthrm and an inoperable window AC unit was NEVER fixed. Even with e-mails back and forth with management.
We're not "city people", but were in for kids college. The location was in a nice residential area. Place felt very safe. Very close to the T. Host was great communicator, very responsive. Would stay there again on our next trip in to Boston.
