This was an older home near the Washington Square. The house was completely and tastefully updated. It had lots of light and was very open. The proximity to the Square was perfect for shopping and dining. The kids loved the yard and big upstairs bedroom. Would highly recommend.

This house had absolutely everything we needed for our 2-day stay to visit family in Washington. Within walking distance to unique shops and cafes. Immaculately clean, very well-stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Plenty of parking space in a safe environment. We plan to stay here for future visits to Washington if it's available. Highly recommend this beautiful cozy home!

Bradley University Graduation

A perfect stay. A safe neighborhood withing walking distance of Shops and convenient to Bradley U. and Civic Center. The house was clean and comfortable with everything you might need. We enjoyed the large dining room table, the front porch, and back sitting area. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely book again in the future. Thank you.

We were in town for a family birthday party and this house was perfect for us. They have done a great job renovating, keeping the beautiful historic features but making the home comfortable and convenient. Check in and check out were super easy. Everything was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had all the dishes for a large family and the dining room table was large enough to accommodate everyone as well. We hope to stay here again.

80th Birthday Party Girls Weekend

Three generations of the family stayed here, 8 of us, and had a wonderful time! Everyone absolutely loved the home and all it had to offer. We felt very safe and welcome in the home. The beds were super comfortable and plenty of room for all of us to hang out together. I would easily stay here again or recommend it to anyone interested. It was also great being so close to the shops in town.

I stayed here with my Brother, Sister and Cousin for two nights to attend our Aunt's funeral service. It was so nice to be able to unwind and reminisce in this beautiful home versus staying in hotel rooms. The living room, dining room and kitchen were my favorite rooms -very open, welcoming and bright! Truly just steps to the downtown area. After check out, my sister and I shopped at a few boutique-type stores and ate at the nearby brewery. We'd stay at the Heirloom again!!

Wonderful property

We were in Washington for a wrestling camp with a group. This house had it all. Enough comfortable beds for multiple people and 2 showers to accommodate stinky kids . We were able to walk a couple blocks and have access to the square (restaurants, shopping and a local grocery). Overall a great experience and we hope to rebook for next years camp! Thanks

We are proud parents of 3 beautiful girls. Beth has been a 3rd grade school teacher for 14 yrs and has recently become a part-time reading interventionist. Scott has been a full time local real estate investor for over 15yrs. We love spending time together as a family and doing anything outdoors. Camping, fishing and hiking are some of our favorite activities. We have other rental properties in the area but take special pride in "The Heirloom" !
