Great location, super comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for our fishing trip! Host was super helpful and always available for any questions!
Great location for fishing, crabbing and shrimping. Plenty of beds to comfortably sleep up to five. A real cooks kitchen with a gas stove and lots of Magnalite/similar pots. Made it really to prepare the crabs we caught.

The place was very clean and quite..I am not a big fan of hotels and the local hotels did not get very good reviews and this place felt more like"home"..we enjoyed our stay there!
Super cute house that was perfect for our family. The property was clean, the kitchen and bedrooms are exactly as pictured. The host was very responsive to my texts. Would definitely recommend this place.
Tony's property is beautifully set up, cozy, welcoming, and with lots of lovely small touches and amenities. We felt very welcomed and had a comfortable visit. The location (across the road from the bayou, and just down from the Piggly Wiggly) was perfect!

Property is great for a fishing trip. Great fishing all around. Has everything needed for cleaning boats and fish after a day on the water. Highly recommend it.

About the host
Hosted by Tony Lapeyrouse
I manage two other homes, and recently my personal home. I hope you enjoy your stay Chauvin. Born in 1960, played and swam on the banks of the bayou. I shrimped, trapped, ran crew boats . After running crew boats for my father, I worked at United Gas Pipeline for 15 years, and last another 15 years of pipelining for Bp. My family ancestry is directly from France, and our first ancestor made is home in New Orleans, and most likely lived on Lapeyrouse street, which is still a street today. After 9 children, he and several sons applied for public lands after serving for the military, this is how we acquired property from the Louisiana Purchase. Farmering, trapping, and oysters industry prospered. Shrimping industry in the early 1900's was non existent. Then the China Man came, and started a revolution of processing dried shrimp, and they had the market. My Great grandfather started, and my Grandfather was the last to process dried shrimp. The oil field boomed, and we became involved in the boat rental business. Hope you enjoy this lil bit of history, as much as you love coming to down the bayou.
