Backyard COZY Cottage in the heart of Houma!

COZY backyard private cottage studio in the heart of HOUMA!! We are Located 1/2 mi. North of the Houma Civic Center near the Intracoastal Waterway. We offer a beautiful space-perfect for a couple's getaway or business work trip! There is a lovely area with gardens, a fenced courtyard, and pool. The 322 sq ft. studio cottage includes Wifi, a full bathroom w/shower, and kitchenette, games, access to Netflix/Prime. Enjoy the patio full of plants, take a nap on the loungers , or simply unwind and relax and enjoy your view of cypress and magnolia trees with a glass of wine on the poolside patio. This recently remodeled cozy cottage is your home away from home while enjoying your bayou getaway!

My husband and I came to Houma for a wedding and the backyard cozy cottage was perfect for us! Everything was so cute and clean! I enjoyed having my coffee while enjoying the lovely backyard area. We highly recommend a stay at the cozy cottage! Also....do not miss out on a swamp tour with the swamp man in Gibson LA. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome Location & Super Clean

This beautiful cottage is in a great location and was super clean! We were attending a festival in downtown Houma and it was very close and in a great neighborhood. The location offers quick access to all the great restaurants the area offers. The owners were great to rent from and were very friendly and hospitable. Would highly recommend this rental and would certainly stay again in we want to visit the area again.

Quiet getaway

I am a stay home mother of two 18 -year-old boy - girl twins. I have been a resident in Houma, Louisiana which is about 60 miles SW of New Orleans. I was a teacher/librarian but I am now retired. I am currently working on a degree in interior design and I make and sell various types of jewelry. I love gardening, cooking , I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. I have been married for 8 years and my husband has 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. We have 3 small dogs- the mom Molly , the dad- Rex ,and their baby Pongo. We love our home and we'd love to have you as a guest!

Why they chose this property

We bought this home because we fell in love with the front of the house and the backyard. It is very peaceful and private. Bird watching is a must! The sound of the waterfall in the pool can soothe one's soul and help to relax and unwind.
