Waterfront on Delaware Bay NJ

Great home on the Delaware Bay the NJ side. The house is on a bird preserve so there is a lot of wild life around. In the early summer the horse shoe crabs come lay their eggs attracting many different birds and fish. The turtles also come up and lay there eggs on the property in early July. There is a 100 foot fishing pier part of the home and ideal for the fisherman with a clean station. The home has a full kitchen, AC, Heat, washer and dryer, outdoor shower. The location is also good. 25 minutes to Avalon or 25 minutes to Cape May.

This was the perfect location and set up for my group of two adults and three teenage boys who love to fish. Relaxing, secluded location away from the crowds (plan ahead for groceries/food as the nearest big grocery store is about a 15-20 min drive). We enjoyed using the pier, grill, and fire pit to make a great 4th of July weekend!

This is our second year at this location. Still the best vacation. Host is wonderful. House is beyond amazing. Bright and had what we needed. It’s off the beaten path, gorgeous views, lots of animal watching. Close to plenty of things to do. We went to the zoo, boardwalk, beaches, lighthouse…. All easy to get to from this location. And I got to take my dog!

Great Getaway Spot

The house is perfectly situated in a quiet location and within a 30-40 driving distance to the Jersey shore beaches. The accommodations were comfortable and the access to the bay was perfect for fishing, crabbing and kayaking. The host was very communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend for a family getaway!

Family 2024 Short Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet, very relaxing, great location. Enjoyed catching up with family and really enjoyed our walks on the beach area once the tide was very low. The horseshoe crabs were every where. We even returned a lot back to the water. Great trip!!

An amazing getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this waterfront property over the weekend and absolutely loved it. The views were stunning from sunrise to sunset, and the private dock made it feel like our own little escape. The space was peaceful, well-kept, and had that perfect blend of rustic charm and coastal relaxation. Whether we were lounging on the deck, walking along the shell-lined shore, or just enjoying the calm breeze off the water, it was exactly the getaway we needed. We’re already talking about coming back.

Peaceful Escape

The property is located in a quiet, remote area and is perfect for relaxation and fishing on the dock. We caught a lot of Sand Sharks and crabs throughout the week. It was a nice time.

Total Relaxation

It was great to spend two wonder weeks at this rental. It was just what we needed. This was our second time in Heislerville this year. It was comfortable and and the Delaware Bay was beautiful.
