We had a wonderful stay at the house, which was clean and cozy with a fantastic view over Almuñécar. The host was welcoming and the area perfect for relaxing. The pool was a bit worn, but still great to use.

It’s a beautiful property, perched at the top of the hills with stunning views of both the coast and the town of Almuñécar. The home is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The only minor challenge is the narrow, one-way road leading up from the main road, but after a couple of trips it quickly feels manageable — and the destination is absolutely worth it.

Fantastic view

We had a great stay. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor shower a lot. The view from the terrace is beautiful. The house is equipped with everything you need. We will definitely come back and recommend this accomodation! The host is really helpful and was answering quick on the questions.

Cluttered and in need of TLC

The couple who live locally and give the keys were really friendly and helpful. Particularly when we had a power cut! Overall, we were disappointed with our stay. It doesn't look like the pictures anymore. The house wasn't ready for us when we arrived, we had to spend a couple of hours tidying and moving the owners things...not something I've ever experienced before!! There was food in the fridge and cupboards which had gone off. Every cupboard in the kitchen and bedrooms were full of the owners things so nowhere to store our things. The house was very cluttered and in places still had Christmas decorations up. The house clearly needs a bit of general TLC...the doors were all really stiff, the shower screen was broken, you couldn't use multiple electric things at once or it would make the power go out. We asked for a cot and high chair which they provided so that was good. The local area is lovely, with a good beach and town to visit nearby. Almunecar was a good base for doing a bit of exploring! The pool was clean and ready to use and behind a gate which is good for safety. There is a nice outside seating area with views of the sea. The owners did apologise for the state of the house and gave us a bottle of wine. Until it's had some TLC I wouldn't recommend it.

Un super séjour

La maison est très belle. Nous y trouvons tout ce dont nous avons besoin pour cuisiner, pour les enfants. La maison est très bien située même si la route pour y accéder est un peu escarpée. Il suffit de descendre la montagne pour ensuite être sur les grands axes. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Hard to get there, but breathtaking view, perfect privacy and well equipped

Reaching the villa is an adventure, driving over a very steep but well drivable narrow road. If you rent a car (you do need a car!!) you should go for a diesel. We didn't. Our Nissan Micra made it barely through the hairpins in first gear. A diesel would have been much easier to drive. Once there you get an astonishing view over Almunecar, the hills and the sea. Breathtaking! You enjoy this view from the terrace near the (clean) swimming pool or from the terrace in the shade that is equipped for breakfast/dinner/BBQ. Inside the house has enough space, is excellent equipped and is as promised in the advertisement. What we saw on the pictures is what we got. During the year the house is also used by the owners and they don't lock all their own things away when the house is rented to guests. No problem for us. The beds are very well. My wife has problems with her back, but she slept very comfortably. A bit lower on the mountain is the villa from Terry & Fran, caretakers for our villa and just one text-message away. They are a lovely couple. Their hospitality made us feel home!

Una casa bonita y equipada con todo lo necesario, piscina muy limpia y servicio de mantenimiento, en un sitio muy tranquilo y con unas vistas espectaculares (mar y montaña). Apartada de la población, pero cerca del mar para ir a calas. El único inconveniente es que no puedes subir y bajar andando, tiene un camino largo y muy empinado, necesitas coche para moverte. Por lo demás, nuestra estancia ha sido muy agradable.

Wunderschönes Haus ,mit toller Aussicht. etwas abgelebt.

Haus mit wunderschönem Ausblick und toller Anlage. Sehr kinderfreundlich,viel Spielzeug vorhanden.Man hat einfach seine Ruhe und ist für sich.Die Zufahrt ist recht abenteuerlich ,aber gut machbar. Man ist schnell am Playa Cabria,schöner kleiner Strand mit 2 tollen Restaurants. Auch Almunecar ist schnell erreicht um einzukaufen ,zu bummeln etc.Einziger Minuspunkt war ,dass die Inneneinrichtung schon etwas veraltet war und teilweise recht viel Krempel zu finden war.Wir würden wieder kommen,hat uns gut gefallen.
