The spacious main level open floor plan brings together the main living area, dining area, and gourmet kitchen. Step into the kitchen to find everything you need to prepare unforgettable meals, including two ovens & every appliance imaginable, as well as a breakfast bar that seats four. Enjoy lavish meals at the grand dining table with seating up to ten. Relish in the alpine views through the windows that span the perimeter of the room while relaxing in front of the fireplace. It truly is the perfect setting to curl up with a soft blanket and a toasty cup of hot cocoa after a long day on the resort. For the perfect après ski treat, step out from the main living area onto the deck, where you can cook on the grill & watch the night skiers as they speed down the illuminated slopes.

Love Big Mountain Chalet

Everything about this place and our stay was wonderful. This was a family vacation, 3 generations. Our grandchildren loved the bunk bed room. The views are amazing. We will definitely be back. Great communication with the owners. Highly recommend this place.

Cozy Penthouse Just Ski Out Your Back Door

We had a lovely time. Beautiful property with great ski in/ ski out access. You just head right out the back door to Chair 6 and the Base Lodge. Easy to find our way back to ski home. It doesn't get better than that. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy.

Awesome!

This Chalet had everything we needed and more. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. They provided sleds for the kids and the ski in and ski out being right near the base camp was so convenient. Town is 15 minutes away and has lots of stores and restaurants. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this property.

Awesome stay in the Mountains

If you are looking for a beautiful property for a large group, this is the place. We had 10 adults with plenty of room. One negative that the property owners can’t control, check in the early season to see if the ski lift is running and road to the sun @ GNP. This property offers easy access to all types of activities. Would definitely recommend it.

Group Ski-cation for 10!

This was an amazing place for our group to stay at! Very easy to ski in/out right onto chair 6 at the base lodge. The accommodations were more than spacious for 10 of us to spread out. Bathrooms were spotless upon arrival and the kitchen had all the amenities needed to cook meals for the squad after a long day of shredding the gnar on the slopes of Big Mountain. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and 10/10 would stay here again. Oh and the hot tub is clutch for those wintery mountain days.

Christmas Vacation

We had an awesome time at this property. It is literally ski in/ski out. Perfect for kids to access slopes without parking, walking , etc. You’re on the mountain, but close to town for dining and activities. The scenery was beautiful. We saw a lot of dear around the community. My kids had a blast and that was our purpose this Christmas. Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful property.

Family Vaca 2023

This was the perfect property for our group of 9. This was our first family vacation, his and mine and significant others. It was the perfect size to comfortably allow us all our own space. It was clean and had all the amenities to make it feel like home. The kitchen was stocked with the dishes and cookware to make it easy to prepare meals at home. The location was beautiful and easy to use as our base for our Glacier National Park vacation. The owners were responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to vacation in Whitefish and plan on visiting Glacier National Park and the surrounding areas.

Owners were very difficult

Owners were very difficult to deal with. We rented this for our wedding and were so excited to be close to the mountain for our big day. Unfortunately dealing with the subpar management cut into our honeymoon and was an enormous hassle. The property itself was okay enough but not worth it overall.

Whitefish resort

Excellent property. Exactly as advertised. Our group had 9 adults doing a Glacier NP vacation in early September. About 45 minutes to the west entrance. This property was perfect for our needs. Roomy, comfortable, parking for 4 cars. Large fridge, two ovens, two washer/dryers. Had everything we needed for meal prep. Basement had two bunkrooms, a double bedroom, full bath, plus a TV game space making it perfect for a large family, teens, kids. Excellent customer service. Glacier Getaways kept us informed about the property and provided a text that the house was ready for check-in, several hours early. Would be an excellent property for winter skiing. Plenty of thoughtful additions such as an area for changing clothes and warming boots, hooks for coats and towels. Was not a problem for us but could be for some people: 1) Three story house so lots of stairs. If anyone has mobility issues, this may not be the best choice. 2) Located near the top of the mountain (great for skiing), but off-season there's limited shopping nearby. Not a problem for us. We conveniently stopped at stores in Whitefish and Kalispell on our way to and from Glacier NP. Excellent property and customer service. We would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay for a ski vacation for multiple families. A 30 second walk to the home again trail and just as easy to get back again. Everyone could come and go. Plenty of space for spreading out and enjoying the large kitchen/living TV area with the adults and kids. Nice touches with games available for kids to play. We would definitely stay here again

2021/2022 Ski Retreat

Our family rents a lodge on the Mountain every winter. This was a wonderful, huge lodge with a short, 3-house walk to the slopes. We would definitely rent this again.

Perfect Summer Stay

We loved our stay at this home. Three families travelled together from the Midwest with no expectations (six kids aged 5-10), other than to enjoy a week together. We were blown away by the house and how much space we had to spread out. We could easily walk to all the fun summer mountain attractions and restaurants. Some ambitious in group did long trail runs to the top of the mountain. It was a little drive from downtown, but the resort amenities made it totally worth it. We were less than an hour to Glacier and Flathead Lake- two attractions we took advantage of almost everyday. We had plenty of counter space to cook breakfast, pack lunches, and enjoy our coffee. And the stars sitting out on that porch...wow!...just nothing like it! We even unsuccessfully tried to buy the place before we left! I would highly recommend it!

Great location, beautiful views, all you need

This place was located perfectly on the mountain! True ski in/ski out, just step off the back porch and you are on the trail and to the base lift in 30seconds or less. Easy to even walk back and forth to the base lodge, a little bit of a climb up the hill but not hard at all. Place was easy to find and owners were very helpful and easy to deal with. They got back to me right away with any questions I had. We had a little trouble with water pressure in the upstairs bathrooms and hot water, sometimes there wouldn't be any water coming out of the shower head and then in a couple minutes it would work again, but we made it work. In the main living area it was a little tight with all the furniture and end tables, less or smaller furniture would of made it easier to walk around but the couch and chairs were very comfortable. The hot tube has great views of the mountain! Overall it was a great place to stay. Very very convenient and just an overall really nice place with super friendly and helpful owners. My family and I would defiantly stay here again year after year for our family trip! Thank you for letting us stay at this wonderful place!

What an amazing layouts. We had two families in here consisting of a total of 9 of us, and we all felt like we could have easily had another family. Right next to lower lodge and Slopeside. You cannot beat it. Thank you and we will be back soon.

Wonderful Stay!

This is a fantastic accommodation! We have a group (3 families/12 people) that do an annual trip to Whitefish for an extended long weekend and this place was perfect for us. The proximity to the hill is as good as you can get. The house was spacious with enough room for each family and a large kitchen/dining area to prepare dinners and enjoy our meals together as a group. The house contained all the amenities you’d need and the staff we dealt with were courteous and responsive. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider re-booking next year.
