Look no further than Durst Haus, where you'll be treated to a main house, a studio, and a cabin on the same property near the center of downtown Fredericksburg. Each home features a comfortable living area, a flatscreen TV, and lovely outdoor space where you can sip local wine and admire the sunsets - all within easy walking distance of dining, shopping, and wine tasting on Main Street.

This property sits one block off Main Street in Fredericksburg, a town known for its historic charm, German heritage, and numerous wineries and tasting rooms. Hop on a local shuttle to take a wine-tasting tour of Highway 290, or take a short walk to check out the shops and restaurants all along Main Street. You'll also be well-placed to enjoy Fredericksburg Trade Days on the third Saturday of the month, featuring live music, wonderful food, and plentiful opportunities to shop. Should the rain ever decide to move in, the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum are close by as well.

Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.


If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
