While staying here, you will get to drive over a little bridge and past a winding stream to get to our historic stone house where you will stay. The original structure was built in 1758. Out in the country with Amish neighbors all around, you will be delighted with the peaceful environment created by the little streams, rustic barn, and buggies going by on the road. The property use to be a winery with it's own vineyards. The house was where the vintner lived.

This was one of the most relaxing and wonderful getaways I have had in years. Candace is an excellent hostess who has thought of every detail and provides a beautiful and comforting home. Will look to stay here again!
Candace was an amazing host. She allowed us to check in early, the home was beautifully set up, a wonderful local guide in the welcome binder and the area was so peaceful. We had a truly relaxing stay and would recommend this place to anyone.
What a gem! I loved my stay at The Stone House and would happily return again. The home was clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. One of my favorite things about the home is the wide view of the countryside. The host was very responsive and accommodating.
Wonderful experience! Beautiful historic stone house with a picturesque landscape. We loved the features of the property - a majestic focal point tree and small vineyard, which made for a relaxing stroll. Hosts were very helpful and thoughtful. Definitely recommend booking!
We so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place with the peaceful surroundings! Candice has decorated it beautifully with thoughtful touches throughout and the grounds are very peaceful. I hope to return,

The house was very uniquely decorated. Very, very nice and very clean. The property surrounding the house was absolutely gorgeous.
Beautiful property in Gap, PA! Home is quite lovely & Candace does an amazing job with communication and preparation prior to arrival. The area is beautiful with trees and greenery (we’re not used to this being from Arizona :) Convenient to local fare and the amenities were second to none. Me & a buddy stayed for a Tough Mudder in Coatesville and the historic nature of the property offered a wonderful retreat both pre & post race. I would highly recommend booking if you find yourself in the Keystone State!!
We stayed for a few days in December at the Stone House between the streams. It was a short trip with my dad who Is 92. The house was really cute and very comfortable. They had holiday decorations around including a little Christmas tree which made it feel really homey. The property is really nice and peaceful. I struggled a little with the lock until I got the hang of it. The only other thing to note is there is no kitchen sink. We had brought stuff for breakfast and snacks. There is a little tub you can use to clean in the bathroom. Honestly we really enjoyed our stay there. We had made arrangements to have my sister come and spend time at the house. It made for a lot of quality time spent together.
Situated in a quiet place. Place was set up very nicely, clean, there was water in the fridge, candles on the table, coffee and tea. Loved the fire place, there was everything needed for the fire place. The owner was reachable and helpful. Very early morning before the sun rose, someone was playing piano, and I really enjoyed the pleasant music. I really liked the swing outside. There was only one drawback, the sink is located upstairs in the bathroom, I would have preferred that there should also be another sink downstairs, it's not a big deal. There were interesting books that my friend found interesting. I really appreciated all the small details that made it feel like home.
Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!
I enjoyed their house so much! The style of the house was amazing! Amazing price for how big the house was. My daughter loved the doll house and was attached to it! Very clean and felt like I was at home but better! Have a nice conversation with her. She is friendly and jf you ever need help she answers very fast! Thank you for welcoming my family into your home!
We experienced wonderful hospitality at a lovely house with a peaceful and serene setting. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. I loved the selection of coffees and teas that were offered. We also had the opportunity to go on a buggy ride and share a delicious home made meal with an Amish family. We would be happy to visit again.

Elena and her group were lovely guests! We enjoyed their friendliness and their interest in the culture of this community. The buggy ride and meal was a special touch that was enjoyed by the local Amish family as well!
Hi, I'm Candace! I live at Twin Brook Retreat with my Husband, the visionary behind turning what use to be a winery into a beautiful, peaceful place to get away and rest. We both love to be working around the property, and enjoy meeting guests and sharing about the Amish community all around us!
