Cozy Bungalow, located in the heart of Amish country. Relax hearing the horse and buggies, going by the bungalow daily. 1 and 1/2 story bungalow with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, is located just minutes away from all Amish attractions. Main floor has kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, with queen size beds, and bathroom. Upstairs consists of 1 bedroom with full size bed. Linens and towels provided. Kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, bakeware, spices, and (paper products)paper towels, toilet paper, and napkins. TV, Wifi, DVD player, some DVD's, books, and games. Pack-n-play, highchair, and booster seat is available.
Manh Amish homes and farms along the road, Stoltzfus produce stand and Hayloft ice cream with pond (can feed ducks) also has a play ground for small children, and within walking distance. Close to Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, Bird in Hand, Sight n Sound in Strasburg, Shady Maple, Maple Grove Drag way, Green Dragon. Close to most Lancaster County attractions.

We were within 10-15 minutes of most attractions. It was quiet and we loved sitting outside on the back patio. Wish our stay was longer. If the opportunity arose we’d love to come back.

Great stay - Again

This was our second stay at the bungalow in three years; we missed last year as another party had booked our weekend. My wife and I book for a weekend getaway with her sister and husband. Property is perfect, clean, comfortable, welcoming, and the hosts are terrific. The horses and buggies clip clop past the house which really is well located as places are accessible in minutes in every direction. We’ll be back again!!

Perfect location

This was the perfect location for myself, my daughter and 5 year old grandson to stay. It was clean, comfortable, had a nice outdoor space, right in Amish country with horse and buggies going by and and closer than we thought it would be to "tourist sites". Our hosts were very gracious.

Peaceful stay

The property was everything it said it would be. Our hosts were very welcoming. It was so comforting to come back to the house after hours of touring around the area. The house was immaculate and that in itself gave us such a peace. I would go back there in a minute and will tell my friends about it.

Ideal Location for Lancaster County

We had a relaxing, wonderful stay at this property. The owners, Ted and Sharon, were a pleasure to work and visit with. This is a cute, quaint home with an ideal location for doing things around Lancaster and surrounding smaller towns. In the evenings we would sit out in the front yard and watch the sunset as the horse and buggies would pass by. There are plenty of eating establishments nearby and a wonderful ice cream/homemade pretzel shop just down the road. We look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

Nice bungalow in Amish Country

Sharon and Ted were fantastic hosts. The house is conveniently located - Intercourse, Lancaster, Lititz, Bird-in-Hand, and Dutch Wonderland are all 15 minutes away. There are several neighboring Amish families on the same road, so the kids enjoyed watching the buggies drive by. We also spent a pleasant evening at the Hayloft just down the road. Thanks for a fun weekend!

Great stay!

If you’re on the fence about booking this property- just book it. Excellent location right near all popular attractions but removed enough to be quiet and relaxing. The owners live in the home right next door and are so kind and welcoming. They personally meet you to provide keys and give a tour of the home. It is simply spotless and has everything that you would need- plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, paper plates, and a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, baking supplies, and spices. BBQ grill was perfect for cooking dinner and enjoying time outside in summer evenings. Our 3yo had plenty of space to roam around and explore. Will definitely come back!

Such a cute 3 bedroom bungalow. It was well maintained and decorated beautifully with lots of special touches. The only drawback is that the bathroom is not handicap accessible (very low commode and hard to get out of tub). The owner did bring over a detachable bar to help with the tub. We loved staying here and meeting the owners. It was also a great location for visiting the Amish community and going to Sight and Sound.

We purchased this property when the original owner passed away. He built it in 1946 when he came home from WWII. Him and his wife raised 3 children in this home. Lots of farm land in the area and neighborhood is usually quiet.
