Myrtle Beach Getaway

Hubby and I traveled with our parents to N.Myrtle Beach. Upon entering the property, everything was just as listed. The condo was beautiful and you could smell and see that it was recently cleaned. Perfect location to relax and easy access to the pool, beach, and local restaurants. We hope to be back soon.

The unit could use a little TLC, but it is still very nice overall. There are some marks on the walls from previous guests who were not careful, and the showers provide less water than you get from the South Carolina sky. However, my wife absolutely loved the tub! The unit is well stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. Do yourself a favor and enjoy dinner at the restaurant downstairs.

Great location

A beautiful place close to everything including the grocery store. There is a well stocked kitchen. Don’t bring beach chairs as they have them too. Bedrooms are warm so be prepared if you like it cooler. Island Vista staff are very friendly. This resort is very family friendly and probably not for an adults only vacation if you’re looking to escape the kids. That said, it’s outstanding if you do have kids. Love the night time fire pits and easy access to the beach.

Great Space

This was the perfect space for our family. The kitchen had any appliance or utensils welded for our stay. The beach was amazing and not overcrowded. The elevators were fast and staff at the resort was very friendly.

Family Getaway

The location was good. It was not very crowded. We went the week before Memorial Day and missed much of the rush. The place worked well for our group of three couples. The VRBO was well furnished.

Great stay

The condo was excellent and had everything we needed and the view from the 9th floor was amazing. We had a drain issue with one of the bathtubs but I contacted the realty company and they sent someone over to fix it within a couple of hours. We really enjoyed the fact that the condo was in a great location, the beach wasn’t crowded, and it was close to all of the restaurants and attractions that we were interested in. We would definitely stay here again.

World archery tournament

Found this place looking for something big enough for us to go down for my grandsons archery tournament. Loved the location and the condo! I wish we coukd of stayed for more than 2 1/2 days though! Will definitely book again if i can get back down there. Mattresses were a bit soft for me and wish there was a griddle but over all it was amazing!!!!!

Great place to stay

Overall the condo was great and was exactly as the pictures showed. The property manager Lynn was awesome to work with and always responded quickly to my questions. The only issue I had was that the parking garage was a little challenging. Spaces were tight and it was tricky to navigate if one car is going up and one car is coming down. But this wasn’t a deterrent. I would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Myrtle Beach.

Great condo, terrific location, very responsive management

The condo had terrific views, very short walk to the beach, and great amenities. The management team was very responsive when something wasn't working. The condo was very clean for a beach rental, but the cleaning service wasn't very thorough- they shoved the garbage can with food on it in a closet. This is no fault of the owner, you can see the time and work that went into the place. We are already talking about what week to come next year!

AMAZING

This was my families first trip to Myrtle Beach and we fell in love this condo the minute we saw it. Needless to say the pictures do not show how stunning this condo was and how beautiful the view is from the balcony. The facility was in a prime location for attractions and was not crowded in the least. At times we felt that we had the building and beach to ourselves. The communication with the owners was fluid and even the rental agency checked in with us by text on occasion. My wife and I have agreed that this will be the ONLY condo we will stay in when we are in Myrtle Beach. Many thanks to the owners and we cannot wait to return.

Nice Vacation

Overall our stay was very good. The updates that have been made are very nice but a few more are needed. My only disappointment was the mattresses were worn out and were too small for the bed frame and box spring. When we got into and out of bed our legs hit the hard edge of the bed frame. Also it would have nice to have a keurig coffee maker in the kitchen but everything else was there. Thanks. P.S...We would recommend this unit and the process. A+

Lovely Location

Do not post this review. The owners have provided a well appointed condo, on the beach, in our beloved Myrtle Beach. I along with my family have come to MB for over 40 years. We used to have a condo there as well. On our arrival we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit!!!. My granddaughter found a toy under her pillow and I had a black hair in my bed. Obviously, the beds had not been changed. Unacceptable! The living room floor had not been cleaned. There were numerous issues throughout the unit. Kitchen clean and spotless and towels abounded. Showers/tubs not clean and were really nasty. This unit is tired but due to lack of cleaning and general maintenance. The table on the balcony had pizza crusts left over! The owners have provided a lovely, well appointed unit but the maintenance crew and property managers are lacking! We as a family will not return, use VRBO or have association with Strand Reality going forward. We spent significant money on this location. Yes, Island Vista gave us all of the amenities and after cleaning the unit we adjusted to our stay in our Myrtle Beach "home away from home".

Very nice accommodations. Kitchen was very well stocked. Overall it needs a little TLC (I.e. new coat of paint). Main deficiency was the water in showers was lukewarm at best; odd because water in sinks was hot. It was disappointing that the water temp in the pools was not heated. It was too cold for the grandkids to swim comfortably.

The resort was nice the unit could have used some TLC. The walls were not wiped down and showed heavy traffic and scuff marks throughout. There was a lot of touch up paint in Several different areas. The bathrooms could have been cleaned better than they were. We had to supply alot of basic necessities fans for the price I do not think you should still have to bring paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, etc. The dishwasher did not work correctly. A lot of furniture crammed together to say that it accommodated more than it should. Was nice to be oceanfront but there is need for improvement.

We stayed for a week at this beautiful condo. The condo itself was the best condo I’ve ever stayed in. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and sanitized and stocked with anything you could want or need. Decorations were adorable. Each bedroom had a theme. Master was shells, king bedroom was pelicans and 2 queen bedrooms was sea turtles. The hotel itself had a wonderful tiki bar right by the pool so you could get beverages and food there and lounge by or in the pool. A top rated restaurant downstairs in the lobby that was delicious and I highly recommend it. The hotel has a wonderful indoor area with a lazy river, pool, kids play area and hot tub. 2 outdoor pools were amazing and right on the beach as well as another hot tub. Owners were amazing and very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place. We will definitely be back.
