About the host

I grew up in Leelanau County just 5 miles from the property. It's been my dream to own waterfront property and it doesn't get any better than Lake Leelanau! We are Up North in MI very frequently, especially in the summer. And, my parents live just a few miles from the Lake House. My Mom, a retired teacher, and my Dad, a semi-retired contractor, are the perfect pair to help watch over the property when we are not there.

Just 10 miles to downtown Traverse City, Lake Leelanau also boasts proximity to some of the most charming areas in Leelanau County such us Leland/Fishtown, Sutton's Bay, Northport and Glen Arbor. From the wineries to restaurants to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, there is never a shortage of things to do and areas to explore.
