Great relaxing vacay

We spent the entire week on the beach, sitting on the balcony enjoying the spectacular ocean view, and enjoying the seafood restaurants nearby. We loved the location and being able to have the beach right outside our door.

Great beach getaway!

This is a beautiful condo right on the beach. You can watch the dolphins while drinking coffee on the balcony in the morning. There was always a breeze and I napped several times on the chaise lounge on the balcony. We had trouble with our door code when we got there but the property manager got us another code that worked immediately. It was such a relaxing week for us!

Peace and Quiet

Had a nice time at the property but could have done without all the codes! The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked! The balcony was large and private. All you can hear are the waves. Would highly recommend if you want to be near everything but not in the middle of it.

Sehr schön, kitchen komplett, Aussicht super, extrem sauber, super Lage. In der Nähe gute Restaurants wie fishermen‘s corner, jellyfish und sunset grille. Tolle state parks und alligator alley. Only for others bring basic spices for cooking, (like salt, pepper, sugar), kitchen Equipment was complete. Hairdryer would be nice. But please all was really perfect.

Spring break 2023

We stayed in one condo and some friends stayed in another that was also on the property. We picked the location because it was close to the park and great for beach walking. The condo furniture may have been dated, but it had everything we needed and wanted. The balcony was a good size and the view is amazing! We had a group of teenagers and the property was big enough to give them a little freedom to explore, but it was very safe so it gave us piece of mind with their independence. It was a great choice!

A spectacular view of the water

We have stayed at beach colony probably 8 to 10 times over the last 15 years. The view from this 9C was spectacular and we enjoyed it the entire time we were there. There are a couple of things though that we feel like we should’ve known upfront. The furnishings are really out of date, to the point of being on the dirty side on the armchair‘s arms. Here is paint peeling in several places. Although clean, it needs refurbishing pretty much. And the construction going on was disturbing every single day. They started at eight and finished at five and it was constant drilling pounding and sanding.

Beach Colony Resort

Everything went very smoothly as far as renting and getting into the condo. Loved the location. The area was not “too busy” but, anything you needed was close by. Our condo was nice and we had what we needed. My only suggestions would be to bring or purchase some storage containers for food if you plan on cooking and bring a dish towel. The only disappointments were that they had flyers up in the elevators that you could rent SUPs through their beach service. When my daughter was able to locate the beach service employee, she was told that they didn’t have “the paperwork “ to rent it to her?!? The second thing was we were to check out by 9am. We got up at 4am to pack, have breakfast, shower, & clean up. Unfortunately, the water was turned off to our condo. We couldn’t do anything but go ahead and leave .

Family Vacay

Perdido Key was the perfect family vacation spot. The condo was great and access to the pool and beach was close. We had a wonderful time and the balcony views were great.

Nice trip Beautiful condo and beach. Pools not quite as nice as advertised, but ok. Don’t know why people have to set up beach chairs and umbrellas in front of where your seats are on the beach. Luckily beach service started placing chairs up front last few days. Overall great trip, too short as always!

Great location, great views

The place was very clean and spacious, perfect for our family of 4. The ocean view is fantastic. Easy walk down to the beach. The kitchen had all the tools you need.

Great location, great property!

This property at Colony Beach Resort on the Perdido Key is absolutely first class. The condo furniture is in excellent condition, as is the condo itself. It's obvious that the owners take pride and it reflects. The view from the balcony is excellent with comfortable furnishing. And a fantastic breeze at all times! Oh, the kitchen is very well equipped. A condo we'll be looking forward to renting again!
