This exclusive 3 bedroom 2 bath waterfront home offers privacy and beauty on the North River (just off of the Saint Marys River). Watch as the sailboat yachts and shrimp boats go by. From the private dock there is easy access by boat to CUMBERLAND Island beaches and the Atlantic Ocean. You can also kayak or fish right from the dock. Amazing Sunsets! Catch your dinner from the private dock. You can bring your own boat (public boat ramp is real close). Fenced back yard. Large deck over a screen porch. Additional bedrooms upstairs. Amazing trip!

Tiffany was amazing! She was so accommodating and kind. She gave us great ideas of places to go and attractions to see. The home was so cozy and relaxing. We also had a great time on the paddle boards and kayaks. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful quiet location

We had a wonderful week riding bikes, crabbing and fishing from the dock, meeting the locals of st Mary’s. We also spent a day at Amelia island and a day on Jekyll island. House was clean and super comfortable with several amenities of home. We will return for sure!!

Awesome place!!

My family enjoyed this beautiful property very much!! The house was beautiful and very clean. The big backyard with the swing, dock and kayaks was a perfect way to spend the afternoon. We will be back!

Spectacular View

This home is clean and cozy. The river view is amazing, and there are plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the sunrise, sunset, and everything in between. We were very comfortable, and felt safe in the neighborhood. The refrigerator doesn’t have an ice maker, but there are ice trays and plenty of room for bagged ice. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!!

Family vaca

Came to visit my daughter and could not have asked for a better location. Back deck is beautiful, peaceful, and we saw the most amazing sunsets. Kids loved the kayaks and paddle board. Tiffany was responsive right away to any questions/concerns. Highly recommend this little piece of paradise!

Practically Perfect in EVERY Way

We just completed our very first visit to Saint Marys, and could not have been more pleased with this property! Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice. The house was immaculate and in excellent condition. Beds were comfortable, every amenity was thought of and provided. Host communication was excellent! The dock was incredible — we had family visit with their boat and it made things so easy! We are already planning our return visit.

Enchanting Waterfront Home

This home is a gem. We spent four nights exploring Cumberland Island, Fernandina Beach, and St Mary's for a child's birthday weekend. Even if the home was short on small necessities (bath soap, cooking oil, standard coffee maker), it is well equipped on large ticket items like bicycles, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, TVs with streaming apps, dishwasher, Keurig machine, strong and reliable AC, icemaker, and the like. The owners generously open their home to guests and invite exploration of the beauty of the Georgia low country. We had an enchanting time and are grateful to have had such a lovely place to stay. Thank you!

St. Mary’s River House

Wonderful stay with a few shortcomings. No instructions for operating tv. Screens were missing in the downstairs porch. We could not use the downstairs porch due to biting insects. The front steps to the house need some repair. We used the back steps because the front steps lean. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the fire pit and dock.

Awesome views front and back

VRBO 5 starsAwesome views front and backSerene neighborhood at the end of a dead-end road (Land’s End). Huge trees form a natural canopy and azalea bushes add color to a dream-like impression. We love big trees, and we could enjoy viewing them through all windows. The living room allows very wide and panoramic views of the river, marshes and trees in the distance. Boats are still on the water or moving slowly along. Sunsets can be observed. We did not hear any noise. The kitchen is well equipped, there are at least 8 chairs around a pull-out table, armchairs are comfortable, the master bedroom is large and has a carpet, the mattress is good for people with back problems. Stairs to the front door and the back patio is time-worn. This cannot compete with the many other great merits of the large house. We can recommend staying in this house, and we would love to come back.

What an Awesome Vacation!! Thank you; thank you!!

If you think the house, yard, and view in these photos of this property look wonderful, feel assured you're 100% right on. The house is a home.. light, spacious, and comfortable in every way. The large fenced-in yard was my dog's dream-come-true, and the view was breath-taking all the time, especially at sunset. The property manager, Tiffany, was one of the kindest and most generous people we've met. While she seemed very respectful or our privacy, she was always available if needed, and she spent time, energy, and creativity making our entire experience the best it could be. Fernandina Beach is only about 45 minutes away, and there are varying degrees of longer drives to tourist must-sees like Jekyll Island, St. Simon's Island and St. Augustine, but we visited all the touristy places several times without hitting much or any traffic. The adorable, little town of St. Mary's itself is only minutes away, and we loved becoming temporary "regulars" in the shops and eateries. Sometimes, you just get lucky. This was one of those times. We're hoping to have a do-over at some point in the future. Definitely a five star experience.

Great winter getaway

Fabulous location right on the water with new private dock, kayaks, and a SUP board. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Big deck with expansive view, and screened porch on lower level. Kitchen was well stocked with quality cookware. Property manager Tiffany was fantastic, responsive and helpful. There were a few issues with missing kitchen tools and burned out lights when we arrived, and Tiffany quickly corrected them. Good internet service; no problems getting some work done or streaming TV shows. Plenty of heat and hot water; we didn’t use the air conditioning during our February visit. The house is nicely decorated with updated kitchen and master bathroom, but a little bit worn in some places: some stains on the carpets and floors, one of the porch screens pulling out from its frame, a loose board in the front steps. The upstairs bathroom still has old vinyl floors and laminate countertops. The slightly remote location, which is responsible for the wonderful quiet and tranquility, also means it’s an almost twenty minute drive to the good grocery store in town (Publix). Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we would be happy to stay here again.

Accommodations were ok /outstanding views and great dock.

This house is in a lovely neighborhood and has spectacular views! We chose it because we are boaters and needed a deep water dock and it was perfect. The kitchen is very nice and well appointed. The inside is clean but the outside needs some attention. For an older person the stairs are a bit tricky. The front ones are not useable and the side steps have vines growing on them but still usable on the opposite side of growth. The house itself needs some cosmetic attention here and there and is in need of updated bedding in one of the rooms. It seems as though maybe it is being updated a bit at a time. The owner was very attentive and quick to respond. I would say it if you are a boater, it’s important to note not to bring your boat to the house! There is not a place to turn around. It is very narrow with large trees separating the road. As gorgeous as it is, it’s not conducive to pulling a trailer in. Just drop it off at the landing before going to the house. We didn’t have children or animals but the backyard is fenced in so that would be a plus if you needed it. Nice dining room with beautiful table.

Great house and great views with fishing!

This is our 2nd time staying at this home. We thoroughly enjoy the views and fishing from the boat or the dock. You can put your boat in just down the road and leave it at the protected dock and just jump in and go. Communication with Tiffany when needed is superior. We will be back again.

Wonderful getaway!

I brought my brother and his wife, and my mother. My brother was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. This place is was just what he needed. The outside deck and the sunsets were just astounding!! We had to he best family get together! The host was easy to communicate with.! We will definitely stay again!!

Great for boaters

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting with a very nice floating dock. Dock is suitable for boats up to 25 feet or so. Public ramp is about 10 minutes by car, 5 minutes by boat. Large kitchen, large bedrooms, huge deck with a beautiful view. We enjoyed a fire outside one chilly afternoon. One PSA for boaters: the streets near the house and the driveway are narrow and winding, and there isn't an easy turnaround at the end of the road. With an 18-foot skiff, it wasn't a problem, but with a larger boat, you might want to launch the boat first rather than towing it to the house. Overall, a great stay and we hope to be back.
