Welcome to Long Lake Cloverdale Rentals! This 2 bedroom, 1 bath property is a year round home and a guest favorite! Sitting high above the lake, sleeping 6 comfortably (up to 8 with fees), this cottage has everything you need for a great vacation! 😃

We are on Long Lake in Cloverdale, Michigan just North of Delton. Long Lake is an "All Sports Lake" with over 146 acres of clean spring water just over 3 miles long. Located between the cities of Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, this quiet lake community is off the beaten path, yet close to so much and is the perfect way to escape to enjoy lake life. 🛶🎣🏖️

Inside the kitchen is fully stocked with everything: dishes, pots/pans, small appliances, etc., and is a great space for gathering with friends and family. The spacious dining area has a nice sized table for meals or game night. The living room is large with lots of natural light and views of the lake, and a fireplace. The bathroom is roomy, with a full tub and lots of storage. The set up is similar to our other neighboring 2 bedroom cottages: 1 queen room, 1 twin/full bunkbed, and a futon in the living room. When it rains, no worries, we offer free wifi, a smart tv, smart dvd player, dvd's, and some games to entertain you and your guests.
Outside you can enjoy 100' of lake front on our enormous beach with a dock to anchor your personal or rented vessel, or enjoy the action from up above on the wraparound deck. Take advantage of ALL we have to offer...kayaks (adult & youth sized), paddle boats, paddle boards, cornhole, beach chairs, sand toys and floating rafts...and there's even a sandbar on the North end. You have your own deck/private gathering space, your own firepit, your own Weber grill with complementary propane and two smores stakes ready for your campfire. If you’re looking for space to kick back, relax, unwind and more...WE have great swimming, boating, fishing, and skiing - WE have IT ALL! And if you don't see it, ask us and we might just get it for you!
Not a lake person? No problem! We have several bonus hot spots nearby: the quaint town of Hastings (15 mins away), the Gilmore Car Museum (20 mins away), Mooville (25 mins), Glass Creek Winery (15 mins), Gun Lake and Firekeeper Casinos, restaurants (TuJax, the Grind, & Bowens are our favs), shopping, and more!
Great location in the middle of the Midwest - close to Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Battle Creek, Michigan. Just a short distance from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and more! We have multiple homes on Long Lake, so check out our guest reviews to get a real sense of our dedication as to how we manage our properties and the lengths we go to so our guests enjoy their stay. AND in addition to our amazing amenities, we have NO Cleaning Fees for stays of 5+ nights! That's right, ALL the amenities WITHOUT all the fees!

*There are steps outside leading up to this property; NOT recommended for individuals who cannot do stairs; for safety, children should be monitored at all times.
**All bookings during our busy season (mid June - late August) are 6 day minimum, checking in on Saturday, and check out Friday or Saturday. For shorter stays during the off season, check in and out any day of the week, however a cleaning FEE of $60 will be required at the time of booking.
***We are firm with our capacities, but IF you're looking to house more people, we have cottages right next door to each other: 1560968 (sleep 6), and 1403790 (sleeps 5). Between the three homes, they can sleep up to 20 people comfortably! We also have our largest house 1581621 (sleeps 6), and an amazing guest house 1403835 (sleeps 2) a few houses away - the guest house is great option when you need extra room for overnight guests. All of our properties are year round - ask us for details! Our properties are often guests with families & children, therefore, if you are a smoker or into 420 please be courteous to all of our guests, especially those with children. 🙂 Thank you!

Cozy cabin getaway was exactly what we wanted

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the lake. The place was immaculately clean and made for a wonderful escape. Holly was wonderful and incrediblely helpful and the list of attractions to view was helpful as well. I would definitely recommend. My only note is to add Crows Nest to the list of attractions as the brunch there was wonderful!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Gorgeous views of the lake, especially with all the leaves changing! We enjoyed the games provided, and went kayaking as well. It is a very peaceful and quiet area with beautiful views all around. Holly is super nice and helpful, and responded very quickly to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect weekend stay

We rented this cottage for a Christmas weekend at a family member’s house on a nearby lake. My only regret was that we weren’t able to spend more time here! We had a very relaxing stay! The place was nice and clean. There were plenty of water toys for the teens to stay busy. Loved the beach area! Great lake house for the family

Holly showed us great hospitality and we enjoyed this beautifully prepared lake house. The sandy beach was just right for younger kids and the paddleboats and floating docks perfect for the older kids. Lots of great spots to sit and enjoy the lake. My husband worked remotely all week and had no issues with the wifi. Holly had lots of details written out and was great at communication about everything.

We've been living and vacationing on this lake for over 30 years and we absolutely love it! Originally from Chicago, my husband and I met on Long Lake as teenagers. Coming from the suburbs, I had no clue about lake living. Long Lake has always been our "special family place" to visit and the gorgeous water and shores are wonderful for every water activity you can imagine.

Why they chose this property

As a teen, my family vacationed on Long Lake every summer. The memories we made kept us wanting to return for more fun the next year. My husband grew up living on the lake and it is a wonderful place to vacation! The cottage is on a private road, so its quiet and in a very friendly community. We have made many friends here and our visitors love coming back and we hope you will have the same experience!

What makes this property unique

Gorgeous views, with private dock, propane grill, and fire pit. There are paddle boats, a floating raft, large beach, and huge deck. The lake is quiet all week, so perfect for a ride on a pontoon, speed boat, kayak, paddle boat or paddle board. There's even a sandbar a short distance away!!!! Message us and we will tell you more!
