About the host
Hosted by Leenette

Hello, I am a Louisville KY native working full time that recently purchased The Secretariat to renovate to host guests such as yourself. It has been a labor of love getting it ready and I am so excited to share it with you.
My first love is running, so having Cherokee park just 2 blocks away is the perfect place for me. I also compete in body building competitions and love to do country western, swing and line dancing.
I love to eat, and The Secretariat is walking distance to some of the best food around with lots of options and prices to choose. I have a small boat that is the best money I have ever spent, and a beagle that is my baby, so bring your running shoes, appetite, boots and pups when you come to visit :)

Why they chose this property
The home nestled in the most sought after area in Louisville. This traditional neighborhood displays a rich and eclectic mix of Victorian and historical revival styles, as well as Craftsman bungalows.
The mainly residential area contains the city’s highest density of restaurants, swingin’ night spots, eclectic shops, and oddity businesses. Centered along a three-mile stretch of Bardstown Rd. and Baxter Ave.
Cherokee Park, just 2 blocks away, features a 2.4 mile Scenic Loop through the park's pastoral setting featuring rolling hills, open meadows and woodlands with separate lanes for vehicle traffic (one-way) and recreational users.
The Highland’s landmarks the Barnstable-Brown Party, held at a home on Spring Drive , just 2 blocks away, in the Bonnycastle neighborhood, and is Louisville’s most famous Kentucky Derby party.
