Location was great! Beautiful views! Loved the hot tub in the enclosed porch and the outdoor fire pit. Could have been a little cleaner but ok. Fireplace kept going out after the first 2 days so must have been low on gas but overall a nice place to stay!

Extremely clean, beautiful decorated cabin. Stunning views of the mountains. Secluded and private setting. Enjoyed the hot tub on the screened in deck. Awesome views of the stars. Highly recommended!!!
The cabin was super clean, even for midwestern standards. There was plenty to do in the area. The view from cabin was suburb - we enjoyed eating our meals on the deck. Cabin is amplified with plenty of pots, pans, and utensils to cook. Host was fantastic and replied quickly, even providing us with area information.

This property is a slice of heaven. It is incredibly clean and well decorated. We loved the deck with its gorgeous view of the mountain every morning when we woke up. After a day spent hiking and sightseeing around the area we couldn’t wait to soak in the hot tub. The owners of this property were quick to respond to all questions. We will definitely be back!

This cabin had everything we were looking for! My husband and I have been very cautious since the lockdown in March and still are not eating in restaurants, but we really needed a change of scenery. Out of an abundance of caution, we brought our own cleaning supplies with us, but it really wasn't necessary as the cabin was immaculate! We cooked all of our meals on the grill and in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. I especially loved the screened in porch which allowed us to enjoy the fresh mountain air even when the weather wasn't great (summertime in NC is unpredictable). The hot tub is also there so we didn't have to plan our dips around the rain. The view really takes the cake, though. The floor to ceiling windows let you take in the view throughout most of the cabin, but we also spent a lot of time on the deck just taking it all in. And even though it feels remote, we were just minutes from downtown Bryson City if we had needed anything during our trip. This was exactly the getaway we were looking for, and we will definitely be back!

Cabin was in a great location, close to the National Park. The view from the balcony was amazing! We were mostly looking for a quiet sort of weekend away from it all, so the locale was perfect- definitely less touristy than the TN side of the mountains. The weather while we were there was quite cold (at least for our Floridan blood, haha), so it would have been nice to have a functioning fireplace, but we could not get the pilot light going for whatever reason- maybe user error on our part, but definitely would have made the weekend a little more cozy. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
The view was spectacular! The cabin was very clean. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries. Our family enjoyed our time and look forward to staying again!
Property was as advertised, but could use some updating. We enjoyed the beautiful view, although we were about a week early for the leaves. Also enjoyed the hot tub on the screened-in porch. The driveway is quite steep—be prepared. Overall very clean, with the exception of cobwebs in quite a few light fixtures. Could use a deep clean. Close to Bryson City, an easy drive to Cherokee and the NOC. Recommend Deep Creek for easy hikes with the kids. Would rent again.
This house was conveniently located near Bryson City (less than 10 minutes to town). Beautiful view, wonderful hot tub on screened in porch, comfortable beds, and well stocked. We will rent it again if we are in the area!
This is an incredible cabin, remote with stunning views of the Smokey Mountains, yet close to EVERYTHING! Perfect for our family of 5 (kids ages were 5, 8, 10). It was extremely clean and well-equipped with everything you could need. The jacuzzi was the cherry on top. We enjoyed it daily after a long fun filled day of activities. We went horseback riding, rafting, zip lining and of course hiking. The Cherokee Museum was fascinating! In the evening we grilled on the deck and made smores in the fire pit. The host Robin was very welcoming and helpful during the entire stay. We will definitely come back. Don't hesitate to book this gem of a cabin. You won't regret it. It was probably our best family vacation yet!
Beautiful! Everything was perfect for our little getaway! Robin was a pleasure to work with, always there to answer questions . The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The view was amazing! Would definitely go back!
My friend and I needed a short trip to the mountains to de-stress and chill. What a great location to do so! The view was incredible, even when it was foggy or rainy. It was so lovely to sit in the screened in porch while it rains and listen to only the drops fall. The hot tub was clean and refreshing. And the cabin itself was very clean and nice. The location is ideal, as it was not in downtown Bryson City and yet close enough to get to quickly. Also, Deep Creek park is a short 15mins on country roads; if you want to hike during the pandemic and stay safe, follow the horse trail.

About the host
Hosted by Robin Fronrath
We became a part of Bryson City and its people in July of 1999 when we purchased the property that would become Lands Creek Log Cabins. As with many of our friends, we’d visit the Great Smoky Mountains as often as we could and each time it was tougher to go back home. From the first time we drove into this valley and alongside Lands Creek we knew we were meant to be here.
Robin moved up to start working on the site and building cabins in July of 2000. Sue, along with sons Josh and Kyle followed in June 2001. What later became the Squirrel’s Nest Cabin was the only cabin here when we began.
Lands Creek Log Cabins is a business built by the efforts and belief of family and friends. It is a true “family business” in every sense.
By the efforts of many we have grown a great deal in our time. Our grounds are now at 100 acres and the home to 19 wonderful cabins and The Lands Creek Lodge. At the center of it and down by the creek is Harmony Hall.
As we have grown, we have had one goal at the foundation of our business: To touch peoples’ lives in a positive way and to provide the opportunity for memories.
