The modern, spacious and comfortable Villa Mathis.

Located just a few minutes walk from the village (grocery store, bakery, restaurants ...).
It is the starting point for hikes in the surrounding countryside, the Esterel massif, the Blavet gorges and the lakes.

It is equidistant from the Maritime Alps and the Var and will be your base for visiting the Riviera and the Var hinterland.

Its location is ideal for golf lovers, many golf courses all around, including one of the most prestigious in the region "Terre Blanche" four season is just 5 minutes.

Villa Mathis is built on two levels (day and night), plus an independent apartment, thus respecting everyone's privacy.

The fully equipped granite kitchen (American fridge) is open to a large living room of 70 m2, very bright overlooking a wooden terrace of 30 m2, facing the swimming pool where you can have meals.

Garden furniture, table and chairs, deckchairs, parasols, are available in sufficient quantity for 8 people so that you can "laze around" on the terrace around the swimming pool.

Solar shower and barbecue also available around the pool.

Swimming pool secured by an alarm.

This villa is equipped with all the necessary comfort to meet with family or friends and enjoy the charm, authenticity and sweetness of Provence.

The land is enclosed and secured by an electric gate.

We all enjoyed a wonderful week in this lovely villa, which had everything we could need. A great location for exploring the region or just spending the afternoon in the pool.Would definitely recommend!

Great location and nice villa.

We really enjoyed our week in Saint Paul en Foret. Ideal for a family who like a quiet location but not to far from Nice, St. Tropez, Cannes etc.

Peaceful spot in a beautiful part of France

Hote fort sympathique et serviable,maison au calme sur terrain clos,ideal pour les enfants. Piscine ,maison super. Bon c'est un petit village , avec juste une epicerie et depot de pain mais les commerces sont a 15mn. Tres belle region avec des paysages magnifiques. Tres bon sejour en famille.

Avec mes enfants et petits enfants nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans la villa au mois d'août. Celle-ci, très propre et joliment décorée est parfaitement équipée, bien insonorisée et située dans un endroit très calme. Nous n'avons pas souffert de la chaleur malgré une période de canicule grâce à la climatisation mais aussi bien sûr à la piscine très agréable et rafraichissante.

Tolles Haus mit Schwachpunkten

Unser Vermieter war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit.. Bei der Übergabe traten die ersten Komplikationen auf. Die Mülltonne war voll und abgeschlossen, die Abholung erfolgte erst fünf Tage später und es gab (zunächst) keinen Schlüssel für die Tonne. Die Waschmaschine im Haupthaus funktionierte nur bedingt, der ausgewiesene Trockner ist nicht vorhanden.Wir sind davon ausgegangen, dass das ganze Haus klimatisiert ist, was jedoch nicht der Fall war. Lediglich der Master-Bedroom im ersten Stock des Haupthauses sowie das Wohnzimmer verfügen über eine Klimaanlage. In den anderen Schlafzimmern und im Studio war es nachts dann sehr warm, was das Schlafen erschwerte.Auf der Terrasse gibt es einen schönen Freisitz. Allerdings ist die Holzterrasse dringend sanierungsbedürftig, an den Holzbohlen zieht man sich sehr schnell Splitter.Der Pool ist schön und ausreichend groß, es sind genügend Liegestühle vorhanden. Die auf den Bildern zu sehenden Loungemöbel gibt es nicht.Als leidenschaftliche Griller hatten wir uns auf einen großen Grill gefreut. Was auf den Bildern zu sehen ist entpuppte sich jedoch leider nur als Plancha. Dies war für uns das größte Manko.Die Außenanlagen waren nicht sehr gepflegt und erweckten, je nach Sichtweise, einen verwilderten, romantischen oder verwahrlosten Eindruck. Das Gras der Grünfläche war verdorrt, ein Strauch nahezu abgestorben und auch die sonstige Vegetation eher ungepflegt und wild. Der Lichtblick: ein Mispelbaum mit leckeren süß-sauren Früchten.

Urlaub at it‘s best im provencalischen Ferienhaus

Unsere 2 Wochen in dem sehr komfortablen Ferienhaus mit zusätzlichem kleinen Appartement vergingen leider allzu schnell. Selbst bei gelegentlichem regnerischen Wetter kommt durch die Vielzahl der Möglichkeiten die Freizeit zu gestalten ( Kultur, Natur , Sport und pittoreske Städtchen oder Dörfer) keine Langeweile auf - oder nur einfach relaxen im schönen Haus oderim mediterranen Garten unter einem Olivenbaum! Immer wieder gerne!

Belle maison lumineuse

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans cette belle maison. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et sympathiques. Par contre, nous nous attendions à des chemins moins longs et plus accessibles pour se rendre a dans différents lieux de visite. La conduite dans ces routes sinueuses a été une épreuve dont nous ne nous attendions pas (nous sommes Québécois). Aussi, les petites commodités de base n’y étaient pas: sel, poivre, huile, café, mouchoirs, savon à lessive. Pas de sécheuse non plus. Nous avons eu du mal à faire sécher nos vêtements car il a plu, la température a été fraîche et humide toute la semaine. Même à l’intérieur, la maison était humide et les vêtements séchaient difficilement. Malgré ces inconvénients, la maison est grande, les lits confortables et elle est située un peu à l’écart d’un petit village charmant et tranquille.

Wunderschönes Haus in wundervoller Umgebung und mit supernettem Gastgeber

Wir waren für 10 Tage im August vor Ort und uns hat es super gefallen. Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern, ruhig am Ortsrand von Saint-Paul gelegen. Man kann hier wirklich für sich sein und Ruhe finden. Die Ausstattung der Küche war überdurchschnittlich gut. Das Erdgeschoss und das Schlafzimmer waren trotz der hohen Temperaturen durch die Klimaanlage angenehm kühl. Das Haus ist sehr groß, wie auch das Grundstück. Auch der Pool hat auch eine angenehme Größe und hat unseren Kindern sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Unser Gastgeber war sehr nett, aufmerksam und jederzeit ansprechbar. Er hat uns auch Tipps für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung gegeben und hat uns bei Fragen prompt weitergeholfen. Insgesamt war es eine sehr nette Atmosphäre und wir können die Unterkunft in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen. Vor allem für Familien ein toller Ort!

Belles vacances en famille

Très beau séjour passé dans cette villa agréable à vivre. C’est vraiment le sentiment partagé auprès nos invités. Calme sans être isolée: Boulangerie, restaurants… à 700 mètres. Pratique ! Un lac à 10 min, et les plages sont 25 min environ. On s’y sent rapidement à l’aise, bien équipée. Pour vous expliquer rapidement : - Les trois chambres sont situées à l’étage (pratique pour se reposer ou lire tranquillement). - Grand séjour avec une cuisine ouverte, donnant sur la piscine, avec barbecue extérieur. - Studio indépendant (pour les grands-parents). - Bon Wifi pour nos ados … c’est important. La villa est assez grande pour que chacun puisse avoir son intimité, tout en se regroupant. Merci Bernard, Nous rentrons sur Beaune.

Un séjour idéal

Nous cherchions une maison pour passer des vacances inter-générationnelles dans le Sud de la France, à la campagne, mais pas trop loin de la mer: nous l’avons trouvée! Franchement, tout y est idéal: la maison est grande et belle; la cuisine, bien équipée pour un grand groupe; la piscine, pratique, même avec des petits enfants, et charmante; l’arborisation rafraîchissante; le terrain clos est adéquat avec des juniors; l’ambiance est cosy, bref, on s’y sent bien et bienvenu. Le propriétaire, M. Bernard Mercadier, est venu plusieurs fois s’occuper de la piscine aux aurores. On sent bien qu’il essaye de faire le maximum pour le confort de ses hôtes. Nous avons aussi aimé l’environnement immédiat (boisé) qui permet de faire de belles balades, même au départ, à pied, de la maison. Saint-Paul possède une petit épicerie bien fournie, une aire de jeux sympathique (3-6 ans ), plusieurs petits bistrots et même un stand de légumes le dimanche, c’est très chouette! Et tous les villages perchés sont magnifiques. La plage idéale, selon nous, est celle de Saint- Aygulf: plage de sable non urbanisée, puisque aux abords des étangs de Villepey. Merci encore, monsieur Mercadier, pour la mise à disposition de votre petit bijou!

Agréable séjour

- Accueil sympathique et rapide de Bernard. - Tout le nécessaire de maison est présent sur place. - Attention , la quatrième chambre se trouve dans une annexe attachée à la villa, avec cuisine et salle d'eau + wc. le bémol, la pièce n'est pas climatisée, mais, elle dispose d'un ventilateur. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans la villa de Mr Bernard.

Séjour parfait dans cette belle maison !

Nous avons passé une semaine géniale. La maison est agréable à vivre, calme et pratique parce que Bernard met tout à disposition (pastilles de lave-vaisselle inclues !). Nous avons posé nos valises et pu faire toutes les activités environnantes que nous voulions : paddle sur le Verdon, randonnée pédestre dans l'Esterel, snorkeling dans une crique près de Fréjus, fare niente au bord de la piscine. Tout fut parfait ! Merci Bernard pour votre hospitalité

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour où nous avons pu découvrir cette belle région de Provence avec de multiples activités. La propriété très spacieuse, la piscine pour se rafraîchir. il ne manquait vraiment rien. Il y avait tout pour passer de bonnes vacances. merci M bernard

Très jolie maison dans une propriété très agréable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Bernard. La maison est très spacieuse, fonctionnelle et très bien aménagée. Le grand studio équipé est un vrai plus. Le jardin et la piscine sont très agréables et calmes. Les commerces de proximité sont très facilement accessibles à 10 minutes à pieds. L'endroit est idéalement situé pour visiter de très beaux lieux touristiques dans le Var. Merci à Bernard et son épouse pour leur hospitalité.
