Central and charming

Welcome to the hip Clifton neighborhood! Our well-appointed home is ideal for friends, family & business travelers. A short walk to some fun neighborhood eateries and bars, and less than a mile to the popular Frankfort Ave., filled with great restaurants, coffee shops, bars and boutiques. This GREAT location is only a 15 minute drive to the EXPO Center, Churchill Downs and the airport, 10 minutes to downtown, and central to exploring the KY Bourbon Trail. This historic style, but renovated home, is charming and unique. It offers 3 fully furnished bedrooms, but please be aware that the third bedroom upstairs is not private! It's an open room, but we've put in a canopy bed to give a bit of privacy.

We love this neighborhood for being quiet at night, but close to great amenities. Our favorite coffee shop is Vint, and our favorite restaurant on Frankfort Ave. is Fork & Barrel. If you're up for a little experimenting with burgers, jump in the car for a short drive to Game (kangaroo burger is the most popular!). If you want to leave the keys at home, walk 5 minutes to The Silver Dollar which won't disappoint with its comfort food and bourbon selection, The Champagnery for bubbles and small bites, or North End Cafe for your hangover breakfast!

Perfect spot for a quiet stay very near downtown!

Historic home that is beautifully updated to give a comfortable stay for your group! We were a seven minute drive from our convention downtown, yeah, we could enjoy having a whole house to spread out and enjoy meals together. The kitchen is nicely stocked, and the owner leaves a lot of extras just to make things more easy for guests. It is always a huge bonus to have a washer and dryer just in case!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was wonderful and had all the household supplies needed. Our host did a fine job communicating and making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Beautiful, quiet and centrally located!

The home is simple but homey! My kiddos, momma and myself loved the fenced in back yard and enjoyed the hammocks as well. The neighborhood is peaceful and just a few blocks from restaurants and local stores! We loved walking there in the evenings. We can’t wait to come back next year and stay again!

Only 12-15 minutes from the Kentucky Expo Center. It is in a quiet neighborhood. On street parking was plentiful.

Surprisingly delightful

Our trio — celebrating 35 years of friendship — had zero understanding of Louisville or this property. Both were great, and the house was a perfect oasis from the frenzy of sightseeing we’d set ourselves. Two of us like to walk, and the surrounding neighborhoods are quiet yet interesting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice Place

Some sort of issue caused the hotel rooms of a co-worker and to be canceled and we didn’t find out until the week before our trade show at the Expo Center. I quickly found this place for a much better price than the hotel rooms. I was clean and everything was as advertised. Safe neighborhood convenient to cool bars and restaurants. About a 10 minute drive to 4th St. Live and 20 minutes to Expo Center.

Our stay at this property was excellent. The house was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. We loved starting our mornings with coffee from the Witches Brew café around the corner and had fantastic meals at the Silver Dollar, just a block away. The neighborhood felt very safe, and we enjoyed walking to dinner and taking peaceful morning walks through the surrounding streets. The house was spotless and well maintained. The only consideration is that the stairs are exceptionally steep, which could be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay, and we would gladly return.

Appreciated the host’s communication and pretty good value for the cost. The one bathroom is very very small so we all shared the one shower which wasn’t ideal. The living room doesn’t have a coffee table so we found it a bit hard to sit there and socialize (putting drinks and snacks on the ground).

Mostly great but a little unclear

We generally loved the house and felt the large shared spaces were great for our party of 3 couples! We loved the shuffleboard, big dining room table for games and sectional sofa for chill time- they all accommodated our group well. We felt the size and location of bathrooms should have been more clearly stated on the description. The main shared bathroom is off of the dining room and is *very* small, the only other bathroom is only accessible from the master bedroom. It is the size of a regular bathroom. The bedrooms upstairs though, were where the listing felt most unclear to us. The first bedroom at the top of the stairs is listed as an “open bedroom”, but does not explicitly state that there is no privacy, as you have to walk through that bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom upstairs. It is pretty awkward that those in the far bedroom with a door had to walk through the first bedroom in the middle of the night to go downstairs to the bathroom. This a great property for a family or friends who are like family but when you don’t know everyone very well, it is uncomfortable. Other than that we had a wonderful stay!

Great house!

This house sits in a quiet neighborhood but is within walking distance to restaurants/bars/coffee cafes. Very roomie inside. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Large back yard. Any questions i had during our stay were answered quickly by our host. We really were happy with this house.

Great location and house

This was a really cool old home in the Clifton neighborhood. It was clean, comfortable and had a very welcoming feel. The only downside was there is no bathroom on the second floor. Not much of an issue, just worth mentioning.

My sister and her husband, as well as myself and my husband came to do the bourbon trail for our anniversaries. The house was a perfect location for access to all of things we wanted to do. The house was great! No issues at all with anything!
