The Twins On Oxbow - Two Family Friendly Lakefront Cabins

Enjoy the rustic beauty and front-row access to the waterfront with these two updated cabins which are situated on the shoreline of the 523-acre, fully recreational Oxbow Lake. These cabins can be rented together here or separately as the Walleye Cabin or Musky Cabin. Watching the fireflies on a warm summer evening from a common fire-pit area is a great way to end a perfect day. A generous dock with piers (boat launch is located directly across the lake from the property) is there for your use (boat rental is available in the area). A sandy bottom shoreline is perfect for wading or swimming. 4 kayaks, a rowboat, a canoe and a paddle boat are available to guests free of charge. If fishing is your sport, Oxbow features Musky, Walleye and Pike, as well as Bass and Panfish.

Year round, Presque Isle is a premier destination for the enjoyment of the great outdoors. It is called “Wisconsin’s Last Wilderness” for a reason. Relaxation and recreation await. Fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, and biking are great summer activities, while snowmobiling, ice fishing and skiing are great ways to spend time here during the winter months. There are ski areas within 35 miles in Michigan. Minocqua, Boulder Junction and Manitowish Waters offer shops, restaurants and activities. The owners have supplied a folder with local activities, restaurants, stores and attractions. We hope you choose one or both of our cabins to enjoy your Presque Isle stay.

Relaxing and Fishing
There were 6 of us and rented both cabins. Spent a week fishing and enjoying the beautiful lake. The cabins were clean and location is excellent. Sitting around the fire pit at night was very nice with a large wood pile to keep the fire burning. Will definitely come back again.

Family Vacation
Everything was Wonderful!! Beautiful setting Water was shallow enough for the kids to play in around the dock. The fire pit and chairs around it overlooking the lake was perfect!

We loved this property!
We stayed at the Oxbow twins with our family (me, my husband and boys 7&8) And another family with 2 - 7yr olds. The property is fantastic, great pier, fire pit and even a little beachy area for kids. Cabins are clean and updated. Lake is super quiet with lots of little coves to explore. We were, however frustrated with communication with vacasa leading up to our stay. I reached out in may to be sure we were still on because of covid. There was no response. We called vacasa a few days before the trip because the listing was unclear about inclusion of a row boat. The representative we talked to was rude. When we arrived, the local vacasa employees were amazing. One allowed us to use a row boat that was there and said it was not typically included. It would have been devastating to rent a fishing cabin without a boat so God smiled on us, but this needs to be resolved for future guests. We come to the northwoods every year, sometimes 2-3 times a year. This was a favorite property for all of us. I'd love to book and communicate with the owner directly in the future.
