We had a great time. Host had everything we needed and the property was quite serene & beautiful. Such a huge house it could’ve slept so many more people. Really close to Bethel Woods

We enjoyed a great week at Lake Jeff Cottage! From Ann’s communication to the listing/ amenities, the booking and description was spot on. We appreciated the various outdoor seating areas - and used them all. The boats were a plus and the lake was quite beautiful including the wildlife that kept us entertained. Glad we found your home! We had a wonderful stay here! Property is close to town but surrounded by nature. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace watching a pair of bald eagles as well as deer, ducks and many different birds. Ann was a great host and her place was very well stocked to meet any of our needs! We look forward to our next visit.

My family had a wonderful time exploring the New York area and relaxing at Ann’s beautiful lakeside cottage. The home was well-appointed to make everyone feel comfortable and provided many ways for our family to connect - around the fire, using the kayaks, or just enjoying the view from the expansive back deck. The house was large, clean, and furnished with comfortable bedding and linens. Ann was extremely easy to communicate with and was very kind to offer us a later check-out so we could enjoy the home even more before leaving. We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend Ann’s cottage to anyone looking for a memorable family vacation.

We were at the property for 5 days. We were5 adults and 3 children. We found the place very clean and fully stocked for the duration of our stay. The host was very easy to reach and responded right away when we messaged her and resolved the issues quickly. We loved the location and the lake . We really enjoyed the row boat and the kayaks. The fire pit and decks were also used a lot. Loved the upper decks and the view. We took a trip into town and also to Bethal and the Woodstock museum. The only thing is the beds were a bit to hard for my tastes but the rooms suited our needs perfectly. We would love to stay again.

We appreciate you bringing the dust beneath the sofa to our attention, and we’ve already followed up with our housekeeper to ensure this is addressed moving forward. Regarding the cookware, you mentioned in your email that there were no frying pans available. When we checked the cottage after your stay, we found all four frying pans stored in the cabinet with the rest of the cookware. We wanted to clarify this for future guests so they know the kitchen is fully equipped. We always encourage guests to contact us during their stay so we can address any issues right away and ensure a comfortable experience. Thank you again for your feedback. Excellent getaway

We had a wonderful 5 days at the cottage over New Years! It was very cozy & had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed snow tubing nearby & an indoor water park. The wood burning stove was great & the view of the lake so relaxing. We will def be going back!

A great getaway!

This was a beautiful and thoroughly relaxing house! The pictures on the website are accurate and show the welcoming spaces and comfortable rooms. The lake view was a highlight as we enjoyed the many levels of the outdoor patios and fire pit, and the local area kept us busy too.The owner was kind and accommodating as well as responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful House for a Weekend Getaway

This was an ideal place to spend a birthday weekend with family. The house is beautiful, clean, had a nice view and was the right size for our party. The owner Anne is very easy to communicate with and responded to my inquiries immediately. She was gracious enough to allow us to extend our check-out time when I requested for it. Highly recommended. You get your money's worth.

Lovely weekend

We had a great time at Lake Jeff. The house is very clean and well-appointed: the kitchen is stocked, we had plenty of fresh linens, comfy couches, etc. We had the most relaxing weekend grilling and hanging out on the deck, playing board games, and exploring Jeffersonville, Livingston Manor and Roscoe. The owners were exceptionally helpful and communicative from booking to check-out. I highly recommend this cottage!

Great house on a lake

The house was a great cabin feel and authentic lake house. Good set up both indoors (bedrooms, kitchen, common space and bathrooms) and especially outdoors. Tons of room outside to sit and look at the amazing view of the lake, a specific place for a nightime camp fire and a personal dock at the lake. One thing to note is that the property is easy to miss when driving on the road since it is down a hill off the road but we found it.

Lake Jeff Retreat

My family enjoyed a memorable retreat together at this treasure on Lake Jeff. The property is gorgeous and is true to its representation in the photos. The whole family enjoyed fishing, swimming, going on adventures on the rowboat and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. There are many comfortable places to relax outside and enjoy the view. Jeffersonville is a short trip down the road for restaurants and shopping needs. We had one rainy day that we enjoyed playing games inside talking and making new family memories. We highly recommend this special location!
