We enjoyed our stay and the property manager was very kind when I needed to contact them for a couple of things. Beautiful cabin and lots of open space which is nice with a lot of people. Kitchen was very nicely stocked with all the appliances, and kitchenware that we needed.
Loved the cabin. It looks pretty basic on the outside, but inside it is amazing and comfortable and fun. It met our needs very well. We would have loved a little warning about the traffic going on the main road to the cabin. It ended up adding 40-120 minutes to every trip away from there to go see the sights.
Couldn't have been happier with this gem! It was perfect for our group! We had 9 kids and 8 adults and we couldn't have found better accommodations! The kids "just wanted to go back to the cabin" everytime we left! It was just like home. My parents lived in Island Park for 14 years and this cabin provided the kind of memories we made at my parents cabin. It was spotless and had everything we could have possibly needed. The kitchen is fully stocked, it was like cooking at home. I didn't have to boil spaghetti in a frying pan! I have rented a lot of properties with VRBO and this one was hands down the best! The only thing I could possibly complained about was a burned out lightbulb in the master bathroom over the vanity. I'm over it! I hate to leave a reveiw like this because I don't want to compete for dates at the best location in Island Park! Thank You for a wonderful, memory making week!

We had such an enjoyable stay here. It’s a well maintained home and the owners have gone to considerable extents to make sure staying here is just like home! Here is our rating for this property:
Cleanliness- One of the cleanest we’ve stayed in.
Location- Beautiful! There are trees surrounding the cabin which we always prefer.
Kitchen-Best stocked kitchen we’ve encountered. The grill outside is great.
Beds and bedding: Lots of beds and ample bedding!
We stay in cabins often and this was one of our favorites. Thank you to the owners for such an enjoyable stay!
Spent 3 days visiting Yellowstone with another family. Accommodations are very nice. Lots of wide open space and not on top of neighbors. Lots to do in the area other than just visiting Yellowstone. I recommend spending 1 or 2 days doing local stuff like water sports on Lake or River, UTV rentals/snow mobile in winter or local hiking.
We loved it. So clean and even better in person. It was truly a white Christmas. Internet worked great.

Thank you for staying with us at Big Pine Lodge. Christmas really is magical there! We love to have guests come back. Let us know if would like to come stay again for a discount.
In 2016, while on a family vacation in Island Park, we fell in love with the area and discovered how wonderful it was to completely escape from the stress of life and the pull of city attractions.
Our desire is to give others the same opportunity to strengthen relationships and enjoy nature that Island Park has given us. As hosts, my wife and I hope to make this vision a reality for as many guests as possible. Our goal is to create a carefree, relaxing atmosphere at the cabin so you can be free to enjoy your loved ones and the beauty of "The Caldera."
