This unit is located in the Kawama Club - Key Largo (which has an interesting history involving the CIA and the Bay of Pigs Invasion). The unit is perfect for a couple or up to four persons and is located along the lagoon / swimming beach and pool. The grounds are wonderful for walking without concern of traffic and is always quiet at night. We stay here every time we come to Key Largo and will continue to do so. Cannot recommend it enough.

Good place to stay. Easy to find and good location. Love the lagoon and seeing fish right off your back doorstep. Water pressure was a little low but that might be a key largo thing. This was our first time staying here. Only complaint is the bed in the master was WAY too soft. I love soft and this was even too soft for me. Not enough support.

Just what's needed!

This condo ended up being the perfect location and place for my family this winter. We had exactly what was needed, location ended up perfection and we had the property beach/pool right outside the door. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great Place

This was an awesome place to stay in Key Largo. Very close to the main dive operations, and awesome property grounds. This unit has a great feel and reminded us of our family vacation property. We found everything we needed in the unit and there was even a nice packet of things to do and restaurants to eat at. Overall, extremely happy with our stay and will definitely be back. Priced appropriately, all the amenities we needed, and extremely clean.

Great place to celebrate and relax!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary and Christmas with our three daughters here, and it was spectacular! The location! The friendliness of the owner and neighbors! The security! The amenities! It was very relaxing and quiet. Our daughters loved it. We will be back!

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. The shower was really nice. We had plenty of hot water for three people taking showers back to back as well as the washing machine and dishwasher running all at the same time. The beds were really comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. We enjoyed fishing on the Jetty, nice walkways, 3 pools. It was great! We had a great vacation!! Thank you!!

Super cozy

The townhouse was great! Jorge was so easy to get in touch with and answered all of my annoying questions! The lagoon was not really swimable but obviously no ones fault. You definitely need a boat if you want to experience the pretty water since key large doesn't really have good beaches. The property is pretty big and the pools were great. The jetty was cool. The townhouse had everything we needed. Extra blankets, blow up mattresses, and all the kitchen supplies you could ever need including spices. We had a very relaxing trip! Thank you Jorge!

Would stay again but property could use improvements

Good size for 2-4 people. Tiles are old and outdated, some outside ones pop when u walk on them. Back porch is a mess when it rains, mulch bed needs removed and replaced with maybe gravel. Many ceiling spots need fixed in entire unit. 1 wash rag for 2 people, tried to find more without luck. Shower leaks and is just a weird set up. Got to get into turn it on (a lil chilly), wobbly toilets (both). Recommend to bring your own coffee/Tea as there is nothing to get you to the next day. We left all extra we had for the next group. I know this may sound like alot of negative but there are plenty of positive like the beach right outside the door, multiple pools with perfect temp water. Wonderful walking path, pier by Marina. Lots of fish and lizards. Owner was super quick to call when I had an issue getting in. He called me almost immediately!

Great property in perfect condition

We very much enjoyed this spacious rental in a secure environment in a gated community. The apartment is nicely furnished and in fact looks better then on the photos here. We loved the screened in porch towards the lagoon. It was always nice and shady there on a hot day. There have been some animals visiting to entertain us. The kitchen is well stocked and except the pots and pans everything was nice and clean. I suppose that the guests before us put the dishware into the dishwasher, but not pots and pans. We left them as we found them and bought fresh ones at Family Dollar for just a few dollars. The Kawama Community is right on the water, however to get to the beach and pier from the unit, it is quite a walk (most of the apartments seem to use a golf cart to move around). The pier has a nice view and extends way out. We did some fishing just for fun, as with the coral rocks all around it, we wondered what you would do should a bigger fish bite, so we not even tried with larger bait as we did in other resorts and on other piers or from bridges. There is the "sailors choice" party (head) fishing boat nearby so we went out fishing there instead. The beach is good for spending time at the waterfront, not so much for swimming. There are a lot of stones and the water is very low even with high tide. The location in Key Largo is good with almost nearby options to stock up for cooking you own meals. Don't miss the Key Largo Fish Market - a real find and one of the best ones we have ever seen. We went there almost each day. Communication with Jorge was excellent, friendly and fast and he did address all our concerns and questions in a very short time. We even had the opportunity to meet him personally when he came by to bring a new umbrella for the front porch. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this rental also to larger parties.

Great Location in Key Largo

Can't beat the central location on Key Largo, with direct water access from the Marina and close to everything you need. Property is old but very reasonably priced compared to most and didn't price gouge for Lobster Mini Season unlike many others.

Perfect condo for family of 4 and had everything we needed.Right on the lagoon near the beach and pool.Parking wasn't the best but we made it work.We have stayed at Kawama many years and would definitely stay in this unit again.

A beautiful tropical getaway!

My family and I really enjoyed staying at the Kawama Yacht Club! The condo is situated right on the salt water lagoon so you can watch the birds or the swimmers and kayakers. Everything is very clean and the beds are comfortable. We loved sitting out on the balcony. My only complaint (I may have read the description incorrectly) i thought kayaks would be provided with the condo, but it turns out you need to bring your own. We had a lovely time! Thank you, Jorge!

Beautiful, relaxing beach front community

Great apartment/condo with two screened-in porch/balcony facing the lagoon that runs along the interior of the community as well as front porch with grill. Community boasts 2 great pools, swimming/kayaking-ready lagoon with beach (and friendly fish), tennis/pickle court, ocean front beaches and the most wonderful walkable jetty. Paved and lighted walkway all the way around the lagoon for day or night strolls. Bikes, tennis racket, sand toys and other outside game equipment provided. Wonderful location: state park nearby where we rode glass-bottom boat and saw a shark, paddled/kayaked through the mangroves and saw manatees. Loads of great shopping and eating. Owner was quick to respond with requests. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you'd need. Highly recommend.
