Our active group of nine (5 adults and 4 children) needed a home to accommodate us for a visit to see family in Salem. This property was perfect for our needs. We loved the country feel, splashing in the river and the spa, playing pool. the trampoline. scooters, picking berries, the massage chair, cooking on the outside grill, and just sitting out on the deck enjoying the sunrise. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need, the beds were comfortable, and the house was clean.Carla was an awesome host and communication from the time we booked the property until we left was very good! We would stay here again the next time we come back to Oregon.
The host was very friendly and attentive. The property is stunning, great views and hot tubbing at night under the stars is a teue memorable experience.
This was an amazing place to stay! Our friends and us stayed here and it was kid friendly as well as it was peaceful! I would definitely recommend! So accommodating:)
Everything was great! The house was awesome and spacious. The views were great and the place was conveniently located to Wliliamette Valley Winery which has beautiful views as well!
The house was ideal for hosting a wedding rehearsal dinner for 30. The hot tub was clean and nice and big with a great view. We barbecued on the back deck and that was really nice. It needs some updates with the shower heads and lack of pressure and couches that are pretty worn out but otherwise it worked well for our wedding weekend.

Thank you for your review.
The 4 shower heads have adjustments for the pressure.
Best wishes
Property is beautiful, and very spacious. Your own quite corner with visually stunning views down into the Santiam river. Inside and out was clean and plenty of opportunities for professional photos, which we used as our wedding reception venue.

This house was absolutely beautiful ! Very spacious & looked even better in person .. I wouldn’t say this would be the best option for a small get together w/ family like it says listed but besides that the stay was everything ! The host was very communicative
We hosted Thanksgiving for our extended family and stayed the night in the cabin. For how large the space was it was cozy. There were some quirky things since the property is set up for weddings. The views were exactly what we hoped for from the PNW!

Great but would have loved a Info Book
Beautiful setting but a corky house. We would have loved a book telling us wear things were and how things worked. The hot tub was an absolute highlight and wonderful!!
We had the best time celebrating my late father. Carla was absolutely the best. I will be recommending her to everyone I know here 9in Alaska. I wish I didn't have to cut 2 nights off my stay. The nieces and nephews were able to enjoy the full stay.
Thank you Carla 5 star hostess
Our family stayed here for our daughter's wedding in early October. It is a beautifully built home right next to the Santiam river. It has a well appointed kitchen & great room for entertaining. Lot's of room on the ground floor and outside.
Our disappointment was all the beauty chairs, shampoo bowls, waxing table etc. in the bedroom and bathroom. And not enough places to hang clothing. However, owner was very responsive when we let her know our needs.
Great for a bridal party...not so much for family vacations
The property is lovely but funky. It is not set up for two separate families, unless you REALLY don't mind a level of intimacy provided with partial walls. The cabin itself smells as though there have been decades of smoking allowed inside despite Carla providing alternate bed linens. The dining table does not have enough chairs...but it does flip over to serve as a billiards table? Carla was very responsive and accommodated our group. She provided great recs for activities around the property. Overall, this property would be great for a small, intimate wedding party, but I do not recommend for families.

try to accomdate our guests. We use 10x tide pods with Downey for linens. Guest was very sensitive to scent. Upon arrival new eygiptian cotton sheets were purchased and pre washed with tide clear.
Along with unscented garbage bags.
All bedding changed and all beds remade upon arrival to make sure guests was comfortable.
Faint smoke from burning earlier in the day.
Window need to be closed when barbaquing.
"Funky" Walls with vaulted ceilings is common in log homes. We want privacy for our guests. We are extending 10ft walls to celling 14ft.
Guests children pitched tent in grassy area, "purchased special princess pop up tent for their youngest daughter. Kids played and enjoyed playhouse and pirate swing and spa. We know children can be rough on a home. Remotes, adjustable bed and massage chair. Our special spa floates were taken to river by Guests and damaged.
We pride ourselves being "family friendly".
Host has cleaning and maintenance on call to make sure our guests are well taken care
