Massachusetts lake house on beautiful Ashmere lake in the Berkshires. Living room and porch provide beautiful views of the lake. House is situated with direct view and access to lake and boat dock. Recent updates include kitchen remodel, Mini-split A/C and heat, electric fireplace, new carpeting,new washer/dryer and exterior re-siding. House includes association access to boat docks and 5 minute walk to beach with picnic area/ playground. Rental includes use of 2 kayaks, paddle board, row boat and paddle boat. Internet with WiFi and cable TV.

We had a great stay at this cute Hinsdale spot. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and lake view from the back porch. Our pup enjoyed frequent walks around the neighborhood and meeting the friendly neighbors. Good location to also plan afternoons in nearby towns like Lenox or Stockbridge for shopping and great food or check out hiking trails in Hinsdale.

We love this place.We have been coming here every summer for many years. Michael is a great host. He is very easy to communicate with and very helpful. The house has lake view. The fishing is fun and right in front of the house.

Cute little place close to the water great kitchen and bathroom on main floor as well as 2nd floor , where you sleep. However, not one bed was made with sheets or pillowcases , this was disappointing and something I have never encountered before. We did not use the boats. Park your car away from the garbage pails. The bears are visiting

RE: beds not being made: This policy was to minimize washing. But this is the 2nd time we have heard this issue and have changed our policy to have the beds made and rely on guests to only remove the sheets for washing from the beds they use.

This was a good stay with a really responsive host! The house is nicer than it appears in pictures, and we loved the easy lake access and thoughtful touches like a fire pit, hammock, and doggy gate for the back porch.

Nice view of the lake. Great acess to head out on our paddle boats and Michael's rowboat. We had detailed info about the propery. Beautiful, well equipped kitchen. We enjoyd our stay!

We had a great time staying in this house. The location is just perfect,close to different attractions,waterfalls ,hiking trails. It is located just on the lake and fishing is very fun too. Michael is a great host. Thank you!

Great location across from boat launch. Kayaks were a lot of fun around the lake. Owner was very prompt in answering questions. Property was clean enough but not spotless.

Great vacation

We had really good time staying here. It's our second time. The lake is quiet and is nice for fishing and kayaking with provided gear. The house offers pleasant view and easy access to the lake. There are also plenty of things to do nearby, like biking (Ashuwillticook rail trail and others), hiking, enjoying art, theater and music. Michael is a great host.

Bucolic Berkshire getaway on the placid shores of Ashmere Lake— This capacious, well-appointed cottage features all the comforts of home, in lush, peaceful surroundings. Michael was extremely responsive and helpful; check-in was a breeze. When not out and about, found ourselves gravitating to the cozy porch swing. We'll be back! . . . .

Nice Quiet Lake House

My family and I stayed here for some quiet family bonding time. The property was right near the lake. We enjoyed the peddle boat/paddle board. Played a lot of cards and games. Beautiful spot with shops close by if you forget anything, Peaceful and quiet. Would definitely come back for another visit.

We loved our stay at the Lake House! The home was extremely clean, cozy and well taken care of. We were surprised at how well-stocked the kitchen was, everything one could want for cooking and eating was available. The beds were very comfortable. My husband and I appreciated how quiet the neighborhood is, just what we needed. Met some of the neighbors who were very friendly and nice. We brought our two dogs who enjoyed the deck (which we were able to close off), and swimming in the lake. We highly recommend a stay here.

Not great but ok in all respects. Sort of funky lake cabin. Marginally equipped- two days of dishwasher soap, one garage bag and no laundry detergent. Lake view might match minimal.
