About this property

Nice villa in a calm and green environment, 10 min from the sea

Our villa is located in a fantastic location, Terhofstede, hamlet of Retranchement, calm and green, and this 2 km from the Het Zwin nature reserve, 5 km from Cadzand-bad beach and the picturesque village Sluis and 8 km from the fashionable seaside town Knokke.
From sunrise to sunset, you can enjoy the sun in the garden (about 500 m2), facing south and on the terrace, whether under our walnut or our fig tree.

The house is very spacious and bright with a large living room, equipped with an old dining table (extendable to 12 people), a cozy living room and an open fire. The fully equipped kitchen offers a view of the garden and the terrace, as does the breakfast room next door.

The first bedroom, equipped with 1 single bed, is also located on the ground floor. On the ground floor there is also a spacious bathroom with shower / tub and toilet. The entrance hall also gives access to a separate toilet.

On the first floor, accessible by the staircase from the entrance hall, are 3 spacious bedrooms, including the master bedroom (+ TV), with a total of 6 beds and a spacious bathroom which offers a magnificent view of the garden. .

The garage next to the house is equipped with a washing machine and lots of garden furniture. We also have 2 bikes at your disposal. Two parking spaces are available in front of the house. A rear entrance through our enclosed plot of 7000m², which is also available, also gives access to our villa.

You like a beach holiday or rather peace and quiet, both are possible here and can even be combined.

Children are more than welcome and will thoroughly enjoy the fantastic garden. Pets are also welcome (ground floor only).

Haus,Garten und Wetter alles sehr gut

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Haus und Garten sehr genossen. Es ist alles vorhanden was benötigt wird. Die Treppe ist etwas steil und die Toilettenspuhlung oben etwas laut, aber im Gesamteindruck gut zu akzeptieren. Ein besonderer Dank an die Vermieter dass mir für mein E-Auto das Laden (230V) gegen Zahlung der Eigenkosten erlaubt wurde. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hou het stil

Dit is zo'n plekje dat je het liefst niet zou delen. Dat de rust bewaard blijft... Te mooi bijna om waar te zijn. Het huis is aan renovatie toe, maar alles is best nog comfortabel. De leefruimte is groot en het zonlicht valt van 's ochtends tot laat in de avond mooi binnen... Maar waarom zou je binnen zitten als je zo'n tuin tot je beschikking hebt? De zee ligt op fietsafstand, Sluis is ook niet ver om boodschappen te doen en iets dichterbij kan je zeker ook mooie wandelingen maken.

Erholsame Tage in einem gemütlichen Haus mit traumhaft schönem Garten

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der gemütlichen Villa in Terhofstede sehr genossen. Das Haus bietet viel Platz, der Wohnbereich ist gemütlich und bequem eingerichtet. Die Küche ist geräumig und bietet einen herrlichen Blick in den traumhaften Garten, könnte aber mal eine Grundreinigung vertragen. Das Gleiche gilt für Pfannen und Küchengeräte, welche teilweise sehr schmutzig und/ oder defekt waren. Dies ist aber ein Detail am Rande, denn ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Ferienhaus gerne weiter! Der Kontakt mit den Besitzern war sehr freundlich, entgegengekommend und angenehm. Auch Gerry, welche in der Nachbarschaft wohnt, war sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Das Haus selber ist sehr schön gelegen, der Zustand des Hauses könnte eine Renovierung vertragen, die Räume sind sehr schön, doch abgenutzt und ziemlich schmutzig, leider, denn das Anwesen an sich ist super.

Erholsame Tage mit einem wundervollen Garten

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war für 7 Personen (und sicherlich auch für 8) prima!! Zum Kochen und Essen war alles notwendige vorhanden. Die zwei Badezimmer plus zusätzlicher Toillette waren komfortable. Eine Besonderheit ist der liebevoll gepflegte Garten, der selbst bei nicht so schönem Wetter für einen traumhaften Ausblick sorgte. Das Haus selbst liegt in ruhiger Lage. Das Meer ist mit dem Auto und Fahrrad schnell, aber auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

Verrassend leuk huisje !

Wij verbleven een week in het huisje met vriendinnen, het was echt ontzettend leuk ! Het huisje is schoon en van veel meer voorzien dan op de advertentie vermeld staat. In Retranchement zelf is niet zo veel te doen, maar als je fietsen huurt (of de twee die in de schuur staan gebruikt!) kan je prima naar sluis, cadzand, Knokke en brugge fietsen. Het contact met de verhuurder verliep heel soepel en fijn. Hij was erg redelijk. Wij waren aangenaam verrast en zouden het huisje zeker aanraden!

Schöne Tage in charmanter Umgebung

Wir haben sehr friedvolle Tage in diesem hübschen Haus, mit seinem ursprünglichen Charme, verbracht. Das schöne Wohnzimmer/Esszimmer bietet herrliche Ausblicke in die Natur, dank der großen Fenster, die viel Helligkeit herein lassen. Es ist ein altes Haus, mit seiner eigenen Geschichte, total gemütlich und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch der Garten, mit Apfel- und Walnussbaum lädt zum Verweilen und Träumen ein. Die Vermieter waren sehr entgegenkommend und haben immer prompt auf jede unserer Nachrichten reagiert, wir fühlten uns willkommen und gut betreut. Es war alles vor Ort vorhanden, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es gab sogar Verpflegung für den ersten Abend. Die Lage hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen: Nah am Meer, aber auch gut für schöne Ausflüge in benachbarte Städtchen gelegen. Auch zu Fuss waren schöne Spaziergänge direkt vor Ort möglich, zB über den Wall von Retranchement. Wir haben uns super erholt! :-) Herzlichen Dank und Gruß an die lieben Vermieter!
