Whether you are gathering for a reunion, celebrating a special occasion, or simply escaping the everyday, this 6-bedroom, 6.5-bath mountain retreat offers the ultimate blend of luxury, comfort, and play.
Mountain Luxury at Its Finest
Arrive via a paved driveway and step into mountain elegance through the grand front entrance or pull right into the spacious 2-car garage. Inside, you'll be greeted by soaring ceilings, warm wood accents, and a layout designed for connection and relaxation.
The chef's kitchen is a dream for entertaining: honed granite countertops, a spacious maple island, a double oven, gas stove, two dishwashers, two sinks, and a second refrigerator in the nearby laundry room (with a third sink, another large countertop, and two washers and driers) make meal prep for a crowd seamless. Gather around the impressive dining table that seats up to 20 and enjoy meals with a view.
Step out onto the deck and marvel at the expansive long-range mountain views which are especially breathtaking as the sun is setting over the mountains to the west. The deck features a table that can seat 8-10 and multiple comfortable chairs to enhance relaxation, great conversations, and savoring the awe-inspiring mountain panoramas.

The main level features multiple spaces to unwind from the cozy living room with a wood-burning stone fireplace to a cinematic theater room with sunken seating for 10+. The airy sunroom showcases stunning mountain views and leads to the expansive deck and bubbling hot tub, perfect spots to unwind after a day of adventure.

Main Level:
- “Grandfather Mountain” King suite with spa-like ensuite bathroom (double granite vanities, soaking tub, and tiled walk-in shower) and a gorgeous view of the mountains.

- Comfortable half bath for guests
Upper Level:
You can reach the upper level by two separate flights of stairs.
- “Linville Falls” King bedroom with ensuite bath and incredible views
- “Scout Trail” Bunkroom with 3 sets of twin-over-twin (one an XL Twin) bunks, a Queen futon, and ensuite bath
- “Flat Top Manor” King bedroom with an adjacent lounge area featuring a queen futon, curtains for privacy, and a private deck with a view. A full bath is off the King room with double vanities and a tub/shower combo. Through the bathroom, there is another large room with a single bed – perfect for a younger child who needs to be close to mom and dad – and enough space also for a baby crib.

- “Price Lake” Sixth bedroom with a twin bunk bed + a twin daybed with trundle and shared bath access

Step outside to discover a private mountain playground like no other. Relax in the beautiful and soothing spa with a wide variety of jets and room for nine. Roast marshmallows at the fire pit, or watch the kids laugh for hours in the backyard wonderland:
- Enjoy the expansive flat yard for games and gatherings
- Head up the rock steps to the private playground with swings, a climbing wall, and a large sandbox.
- Play horseshoes, tetherball, and the crown jewel: a 50-foot tunnel slide built right into the mountainside. Yes, it's as epic as it sounds!
- On the other side of the house, fire up the grill for BBQ, steaks, or hamburgers.
For nature lovers and hikers, the Blue Ridge Parkway takes you right to the famous Cone Estate Trails (ideal for exploring and hiking) and Price Lake Park (where canoes and kayaks are available for rent).

Whether you're sipping coffee while the fog lifts over the peaks, watching the kids race down the mountainside slide, or savoring unforgettable sunset mountain vistas, this home offers beauty, tranquility, and laughter in every moment.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home allows up to 3 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night plus tax.
- Events are not permitted at this home. Thank you for respecting this rule and not requesting an exception.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
