Overall this is a nice property for a short stay (10 days or less). Canmore is a very active town and it is impossible to park downtown but that was not too much of a problem for us. We were using the location as a jump off point for Banff Park and Lake Louise. Super easy to hop onto Highway 1 from this condo. The condo is small but comfortable. The kitchen has the necessary appliances and most of the usual utensils. The outdoor grill is a nice touch. The TV stations left a lot to be desired - no US national news like ABC or NBC, but that is most likely a function of the cable platform that this condo has. Again, not a big deal because we were there to explore Alberta, not sit around and watch TV.It was nice having a washer and dryer. The one area I would consider addressing is the bathroom with a tub/shower. The tub is very tall and there are no grab bars to help one get in and out. That is an accident waiting to happen. We enjoyed our time in Canmore and thank the hosts for their hospitality.

Wonderful property, centrally located. Parking spaces are a bit tight, so avoid renting a monster truck!

Great location - 20 min walk to downtown, lots of other shops and restaurants nearby. Parking spot was a definite plus when our plans changed and we had a car. Also having the washer and dryer was a great help. Unit is set up with the living/kitchen plus half bath on the top floor and both bedrooms downstairs. Both bedrooms were about the same size and had bathrooms attached, so it was very comfortable for 4 adults. Hosts were very responsive and we had no issues during our stay. Highly recommend both visiting Canmore and staying here!

We were a group of 3 generations and we all enjoyed our stay at Fire Mountain. It was very convenient for downtown Canmore as well as Banff and the wonderful Rockies. The parking is not easy, especially with today’s large vehicles, but our driver managed OK. By the way the curtains actually do block out the light, a bonus in the height of sumner. Highly recommended.

Condo was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have laundry capabilities in the condo. Lots of closet space to hang your clothes, especially in the master. Within easy walking distance to lots of food options (breakfast to dinner) and is in a very nice area. Nice to have 2.5 baths -- one with each bedroom and a half on the main level. For those with trouble doing stairs, you enter this condo on the kitchen/living level, and then both bedrooms are downstairs. The stairs seem a little steep and make a tight turn halfway down.Parking was challenging. We had a standard SUV and found it difficult to park and then to get things in and out of the car each day. Our family would have to get out of the car and then my husband would park because the stone columns would prevent you from opening some of the doors. The air conditioning wasn't on when we arrived and it took the entire whole evening to cool off the condo. There were also no fans (ceiling or otherwise) to help circulate the air.For our family of 4, there were only 6 wash cloths total, which meant daily laundry just to be able to shower. We ended up buying our own so we didn't have to do laundry every day of our vacation.

The place is very roomy with bedrooms downstairs. The refrigerator for some reason was stinky when we got there but it was clean. Kitchen had plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. Laundry was a plus. Free parking, spaces are very narrow. Had issue with cooling the upstairs and did not get response from host before we checked out to fly home.
