Vacation Getaway

The property is exactly as advertised. Beautiful, secluded, and on the beach! Lounging on the patio was like sitting right on the beach and coffee at the wooden bar watching the sunrise is priceless. It was cooler while we were there and the grape trees offered a break from the breeze while still enjoying the sun and view. The property is close to shops, Publix, and Sebastian Inlet and offers everything you need for a home away from home. We can't wait to book our next stay!

ItS a secluded bungalow with a view

This place was paradise in a very sweet spot in a secluded bungalow that felt as if u was the only one on an island, it felt very welcoming and and homely I would recommend this bungalow for anyone that wants relaxation I will be coming back next year

Will never stay in a hotel again!

Thank you for a glorious week at your house! My family had such a great time and can’t wait to come back. We were so pleased with the thoughtful touches all around the house that made our stay so comfortable. We had a perfect week of weather and enjoyed the beach every single morning, afternoon and evening because it was so easy to walk out the door and have fun!

Private Little Getaway

We loved our stay! It’s right on the beach, we watched a Space X launch, and a mama sea turtle built a nest right next to the house. Sea kayaks included, several kites you can fly, beach games. This property offers a lot! One drawback was the air unit in the back bedroom isn’t working well. It blows just as much hot air as it does cold and the temp stayed around 84. The blind at the kitchen table needs to be darker. Even with the shade closed, a lot of light spilled over onto the dunes

Not for big families

The view is beautiful but the house is very small and the parking is tricky. Looks spacious but is actually not easily navigated. House is old and dated. Does not have central A/C and the plumbing fixtures could use some work. We had an ant problem but the manager told us that was likely due to all the rain. I like this area of Florida and if the house was renovated it would be a real jewel.

Wonderful week on the beach with lots of sea turtle sightings!

This property had everything our family of four needed to enjoy a week on the beach. The three bedrooms and two full bathrooms were great. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals (used the grill a few times too). Even enjoyed the living room television the night it was storming outside. We used the beach chairs and umbrellas daily. Enjoyed the boogie boards and sand toys as well. There were adult life jackets (we had brought two for our daughters). Sunscreen and bug spray are a must. We were there in late July and had loggerhead and green turtles come up every night to nest. Even got to see baby turtles hatching. This was our first beach house rental (historically had stayed in hotels) - I don't think we'll ever stay at a beach hotel again; this rental far surpassed our previous hotel experience.

Best Beach House

My sisters and I just fell in love with "Good Vibrations"!! Everything we wanted with an amazing Ocean view. The property was as described. It was well stocked with everything needed for a beach vacation. Communication with the owner was awesome, we did have an issue with someone running over the trash can we put out on Saturday, sad. But I contacted the owner and she assured me everything was ok. Thank you Janice! The rooftop deck was not available for us to use, however it was not missed as the view from the patio was enough. I was totally amazed by the number of Sea Turtles we saw, they were huge!! One thing that I think, on a personal note, was that the couch was very deep not easy for my short stature. With "Good Vibrations", we have found our new location for are Annual Sisters Vacation!!!

Hidden Gem

What a fun rental property! This is a traditional Florida beach house, decorated in a beautiful and whimsical fashion! Surfboards hang from the ceilings w/ beachy decor everywhere. There is a beautiful patio overlooking the beach w/both sun and shade, an observation deck up above w/the same amazing view, and a stairway directly onto the sand. The view is absolutely stunning and will be evident as soon as you open the front door. We found the kitchen to be well stocked and a full tank of propane with grill outside. Also to note is a good sized front yard w/flowers and coconut palms and sweet little patio. It is set back from the road much more than most properties in this area, giving it a more secluded feel. This is a "less touristy" area, away from Spring Breakers, etc. You may find that you often have a good portion of the beach to yourself. All in all, just a beautiful and authentic beach cottage that we hope to return to as often as possible!

This is our 2nd stay @ Good Vibrations! We fell in love with the house and Melbourne Beach our 1st stay and new we would be back! We were sorry to see the devastation caused by recent storms to the back of the home :( We really enjoyed the outdoor dining area that is no longer there as a result. It would have been appreciated to have been given a heads up about the construction next door and the loss of the outdoor dining area…however it did not take away from our enjoyment. We missed having the seclusion that the treed lot (which has been purchased and is under construction) provided. It had a very tropical secluded feel which is just non existent now. With that being said…the home is still just as charming and fully stocked with all the amenities a person/family could need!! My boys loved the board and sand toys provided. Which we appreciated as well.. Everything you needed..chairs, umbrellas, toys and more were provided! You literally just need a toothbrush and a change of clothes and your supplied with the rest you’ll need for a great getaway! Thank you again for sharing this beautiful space and allowing us to create these wonderful memories with our kids! ❤️

WOW, Amazing and BEAUTIFUL beachfront home A++ Highly Recommend!

This place is amazing. It will have everything you will need for a good time at the beach with your family or traveling alone like I did. The home was impeccably clean and came with so many extras. Very effective air conditioning in every room. Very nice ceiling fans keep the inside environment exactly where you want it. It even had a little fireplace and space heaters if you needed them during the winter time. It may have even had other heating in the home, I was there during the summer. A very well stocked kitchen with pots and pans and strainers and utensils galore. Coffee mugs, plateware, placemats, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, I could go on. The place was very well stocked. Washer and dryer worked very well. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds. One bed was firm the other was soft, I never tried the 3rd one! But really what matters about this house is nothing that I have mentioned so far. What matters here is YOUR VIEW! Holy Mackerel. You will enjoy it! The Sunrises are STELLAR. The beach is PERFECT and there was almost nobody else anywhere near me on the beach during my entire week stay in September of 2022. This place is very private. Turtles came to nest EVERY NIGHT that I was there, right there on the beach, it was completely amazing. There were also hatchings of turtles at least twice while I was there. Because this place is in such a somewhat isolated area geographically, there are a good amount of bugs like sand fleas in particular which love to bite right at sunset and sunrise so just cover up or wear bug spray and you should be fine. I just wore sweat pants, socks and a long sleeved shirt and a hat. If you have exposed skin they will eat you alive in a short amount of time. During the day, the bugs were not bad at all. There are friendly crabs, and all kinds of birds in the area. I did see some brown Pelicans patrolling the beach line also an Osprey or 2 and lots of seal gulls and other neat sea birds. The water was warm and the waves were mostly calm. The sun rises were the best for me. Thank you SO much for letting me stay here! The property manager, I think her name is Christine, was EXTREMELY kind and very helpful and completely responsive to every question I had and she even managed to help me extend my stay for one additional night and she took care of everything. She even made a visit out to the home to answer some questions I had about the area and all. A++ I will be back here soon! Thank you again! WOW.

Wow…that about sums it up!! This little boho cottage nestled on the edge of the dune was a dream for us! We loved the layout, the decorating, the incredible back of the house sitting area and upper deck. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the sounds of the crashing surf.The location of the cottage was a perfect spot - not your typical Florida crowded beach town. It’s located on a narrow peninsula-like stretch of land and the road is lined with lush vegetation, small homes and small beach parking areas. There is a grocery storm and a gas station close by, plus a few locally owned restaurant gems. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, laid back experience and a step back in time to when a beach house was a cottage. Truly a dream that we intend to visit again.

Relaxing Stay at the Beach

The location was fantastic. Couldn't beat being right on the beach. The rooms were comfy and perfect for our family of five. The beach was private and not crowded at all. We found so many shells and really enjoyed swimming each day. We also saw baby turtles hatching and turtles laying eggs. We also went to the balcony above the patio and saw a rocket launch. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay! We would definitely come again.

Peaceful Bungalow on the beach!

The beds were all so comfortable and the view being on the beach was absolutely amazing! We hardly left the property, and there is a Publix 3 miles away. There are other houses around but not very many people on the beach because it’s not near a public access. We saw so many turtle in the water and coming on shore every day, there are tracks all over each morning. There isn’t a dish washer (except my hubby haha) but we just got extra paper plates etc to help with clean up. The only “negative” feedback I have is that the fans all need a good cleaning! And the front door needs a latch up high for small children so that it can’t be opened so easily. Thankfully our daughter is almost three and although she opened it easily even when it was locked she thankfully isn’t an escapee! We had the most amazing, laid back week. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with others! We even left a few ocean puzzles behind for others to enjoy. We would definitely suggest longboards for dinner or lunch, the salty bagel every day for breakfast and iced coffee, and Bizzarro pizza! All within 20 min of the property!

Old Florida beach house

The house is nice and clean. Reminds me of how beach houses used to look before high rises started appearing and cluttered the shore line.Obviously the best part is the location right on the beach, very unique and very hard to find these days.JL

Family vacation

We drove 15 hours to stay here from Arkansas. It is a nice property as described in the listing for the most part. Something I read said there was a golf course on property which there was not. It is right on the beach which is pretty sparsely populated giving essentially a private beach front. It has 3 bedrooms, only one of which with an ocean view, with a double bed. One king bed and one double bed in the front of the house. There is what looks like a day bed in the living room someone could potentially sleep on. It has 2 bedrooms, one with tub/shower combo and one small shower. There is a private outside shower to rinse the sand off, which is nice. They have an outside cabinet with several boogy boards and a couple of beach chairs, as well as sand toys if there are little ones. The deck on the roof is a nice option as well. It is sea turtle season, we did get to watch a sea turtle come on the beach to lay her eggs, but did not get to see any baby turtles hatch. We also saw dolphins everyday on our beach. One day we saw a sawfish, right on our beach, which is an endangered species. Cleaning was adequate, not perfect. Would return again. Thank you for the stay.
