This one bedroom boasts nine foot ceilings, Italian porcelain floors. Fantastic Kitchen/Living area provides a perfect cooking and entertaining space with a 43"flat screen TV. Bedroom furnished with a queen bed with a 40" flat screen TV. Stone tiled bathroom boasts a large shower for two with instant heating and bath ventilation. Hi-speed internet access and all linens provided. A built-in washer and dryer complete the new appliances for extended stays. Private off street parking for 1 car. Nice quiet and friendly neighborhood for walking to food drink and music. Check out the Old Gretna Farmer's market on Saturday mornings between 8 am and Noon. Enjoy live music at a neighborhood restaurant on weekends. Capture photo opportunities of the skyline of New Orleans by walking the paved three & a half mile river path for jogging, biking or walking to Algiers Point then catch the ferry to downtown French Quarter.

Hi I am Raymond Romano, born in New Orleans and now living in Hawaii. I renovated this 100+ year old home and brought it into the 21st century while maintaining it's historic charm so that a traveler could stay in New Orleans comfort for an extended stay.
Why they chose this property
This is a fully furnished rental in the historic district of Gretna: a suburb of New Orleans. It boasts a very quiet neighborhood and all the amenities for very comfortable living in a home away from home. It provides a full kitchen with all the cookware & utensils one would have in his or her own home if you like cooking. The work triangle is perfect and a washer and dryer accompany the main appliances too. It's easy for the travel worker. There is a nicely appointed large covered patio for quiet relaxation as well as entertaining. Expect easy access to downtown New Orleans (10 min.) a neighborly farmer's market every Saturday. A pleasant town district just a few blocks away to enjoy dining, drinks or to watch the sunset at the Mississippi River just 10 blocks away. There is a fantastic bike and walking path on the river where you will frequently see the film making industry hammer out their latest plots with the Big Easy as a back drop.
