Beautiful place to relax

We rented this home over new years to spend some quality time with our extended family. Check in was tricky because the lady only spoke French so my foundational understanding was put to the test. Very friendly and thorough check in process though! The home is super spacious and well appointed. Comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms for all rooms - a really nice plus! The kitchen was well really equipped, exceeding what you’d expect at a vacation home. That said we had some issues with the two(!) dishwashers leaking and the stove takes a bit getting used to. There is a BBQ grill but we couldn’t find utensils though. Nespresso machines, wine fridge, super sized dining table and lots of other appliances though. A pellet fueled fireplace kept the living area pretty warm but other rooms required a remote controlled heater on the wall. One was constantly beeping with some error which was annoying. I’d also suggest a dimmer on the living room ceiling light for some added ambiance because its really bright! The fire alarm went off once at night - still not sure what triggered it. But apparently it wasn’t a concern to the owner/manager because they never responded to our text messages. The home is a bit remote from groceries and decent restaurants but they are a quick drive away as well as any hikes or other sight seeing activities. Would be nice if the home had some board games to enjoy it during winter months but the pool table was definitely a hit! I can imagine the outdoors of the home to be pretty nice in the summer for kids to run around etc. All in all, except for a few hiccups, we had a great stay in a beautiful and comfortable home. Thanks for having us!

Leider war das Haus nicht vorgeheizt und von vier Heizquellen im Wohnbereich waren 3 defekt (u.a. der Ofen), sodass es fast 12 Stunden gedauert hat, bis das Haus aufgeheizt war. Eine Kaffeemaschine und eine Spülmaschine waren defekt. In einem Schlafzimmer Schimmel an der Wand/Decke. Bettwäsche in mehreren Zimmern war nicht sauber. Die Toiletten waren auch nicht alle sauber. Die Kommunikation bei Übergabe und später mit den Ansprechpartnern war auf Englisch fast nicht möglich. Positiv: großes Haus mit vielen Möglichkeiten und cooler Einrichtung

Moderne luxeacomodatie met hier en daar een paar kleine gebreken die toch zouden moeten opgelost worden. Sifon die geur niet afsluit ,loszittende kraan in badmeubel
