In the desirable 'Avenues' 7 minute walk to our private association beach area, a short walk to Craigville beach, pizza + Mexican eatery, post office and general store. 3 miles to Hyannis, the Melody Tent, Cape Cod mall, Barnstable airport, islands ferry, Cape Cod rail bike trail, several golf courses, many super markets and shopping, farm stand, Cape Cod potato chips, Cape Cod brewery, etc. Outside shower, gas grill, picnic table, yard chairs, sandbox, broadband streaming connect to your netflix, hulu, etc, high chair, Pack and Play, baby monitor, baby swing, a modern kitchen with gas range, convection oven, 2 microwaves, dishwasher, fridge with filtered ice maker, beverage fridge, filtered sink tap, coffee makers + Keurig brewer, washer dryer. Sleep sofa in den & foam fold out in front porch. Cleaning incl. no extra fees. PLEASE No Smoking inside. NOTE: Low rates in off season have broadband turned off, $125 charge to activate. June Through August free broadband WIFI internet.


Electronic Gadgets Details: Our newest gadget is SOLAR POWER. This system interoperates with the electric utility to provide reliable continuous power 24/7 while generating clean pollution free power on sunny days. All of the power consumed by the home in the summer is generated by the system over the course of the year with no pollution. Enjoy your guilt free vacation!

The living room has a 50 inch LED HDTV with ROKU internet player for smart TV access to your netflix, hulu etc accounts. The den TV is 40 inch HDTV with roku player for smart TV access to your netflix, hulu etc accounts. All bedrooms have HDTVs with ROKU or similar players.


We have many classic VCR tapes of childrens movies and downstairs TVs have a combo DVD VCR player.

Summertime on the Cape is high season for bugs especially ants so you must have a control strategy in place. Don't feed ants! If there is food available to them, they will come. Tips are listed in the kitchen cabinet above the sink. Be aware that it is really not possible to go without a strategy on the Cape even if you don't need it where you live in the city.

Pet Friendly Details: We welcome pets no extra charge. We need to know what you are bringing for the lease. Standard security deposit of $500 no change if you bring pets.

Our area has a leash law similar to many cities and towns. Poop must be picked up when walking (and also kept cleaned up in our yard). Dogs are to be leashed. No dogs allowed on our beach or any public beaches from May 15 to September 15.

Summertime on the Cape is high season for fleas and ticks so you must have a control strategy in place. Be aware that it is really not possible to go without a strategy on the Cape even if you don't need it where you live in the city. After a week or 2 on the Cape without protection you may not think you have any fleas or ticks, but after another week or so both you and I have a good chance to be infested.

The outside shower is a great place to give a dog a bath with the hand wand.

Baby Friendly Details: We have a high chair, baby swing, sandbox, a few toys, pack and play, baby monitor, gate, To help lighten the load of gear when traveling with a baby. You can rent a crib, stroller, linen service, linen or towel service and many other items

The house is not 'baby proof' or 'child proof' and the laundry room contains the heating and hot water systems. So be advised on not letting children roam free unsupervised.

Great Vacation Getaway!

Our group of 5 adults stayed here over Columbus Day weekend, and it was a perfect house. The place is very clean, lots of space to spread out, a big kitchen so we could enjoy a relaxed dinner at home, a nice safe neighborhood, and a convenient location. We loved it and will look forward to coming back again.

Seaside Park Hidden Gem

The house was perfect and the park was awesome. Brought kayaks and the parks launch area was so easy. The launch area was calm and a lot of area to explore. With a channel to the sea, as if nature made to order. Tom was quick with answers and helpful. Highly recommend.

The house is accurately described. Plenty of room for everyone. Large eat in kitchen. Great for large families. Easy access to beaches and Hyannis. Private beach has plenty to explore at low tide. Owner provides great customer service and is immediate on all responses. Going back for the 4th year in 2015. Reasonably priced for what is offered.

Beautiful House & Fun weekend

I rented this beautiful house for my 50th b'day celebration with 2 other couples. The house is in a quiet neighborhood but not too far away from town. when we arrived Tom left a beautiful mum plant in the table. The house was very clean and well stocked with pots/pans and the living area and kitchen area is large. It was a great weekend!! (I thought I had reviewed my stay, but as I was cleaning out email I noticed I never did) sorry this is a late review...I would definitely stay here again the next time I travel with a group. I highly recommend this property..

Wonderful family home in West Hyannisport MA

Accurate listing. Spacious home with 4 bedrooms and pull out sofa downstairs. WiFi ready, three TVs, eat in kitchen, large dining room with table if needed. Couches and chairs enough for comfortable seating. Everyone has enough space. Convenient to many beaches two within 5-7 minutes. Functional outdoor shower. Drive up load in through back door. Modern appliances in kitchen. Washer and dryer in basement. House is clean and well maintained. Owner always accessible and provides good customer service. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home in Hyannis

This home is great if you have a large group of people. In our case of a blended family of 8. It was a great place to stay. There is plenty of room for everyone to sit down, relax and not feel cramped. The kitchen is spacious. The dining area is big enough for all. Tom a great host who answered all of our questions in a timely manner. He called to make sure everything was to our liking. The neighborhood is very quiet. The weather at this time of the year is cool but very pleasant. It is located on the outskirts of town and everything is easily accessible within a few minutes. We would recommend this to home to other large groups of people. Andy

Great house in peaceful and quiet location

This house was perfect for our group of 7 adults including 2 dogs. Tom was always very quick to respond to messages and left us dog treats and cookies upon arrival. The house was very clean with all needs taken care of including beach chairs, kids toys, wifi, fans, sheets (we brought our own twin sheets and used the king sheets which had to be washed before checking out), board games and plenty of dishes in the kitchen. The appliances were all clean and worked very well. There was also a separate fridge for drinks. We really enjoyed having the picnic table and grill in the yard. Plenty of parking. It was a nice walk to the private beach and the public beach was a mile down the road. During our stay we visited the Cape Cod Chip Factory and the Cape Cod Lavender Farm. Short drive to downtown area with shopping, restaurants and bars. Great jumping off point for visiting Provincetown for the day as well. If we do another vacation to Cape Cod, we will definitely stay in this house again.

Wonderful despite the rain!

The owner, Tom could not have been more helpful throughout the entire booking process. He was very quick to answer even the silliest of questions. Upon arriving to this extremely spacious home, every room was spotless. The four bedrooms upstairs made the sleeping arrangements very easy and comfortable. Though we were worried that the rain would put a damper on our stay, we found ourselves activities to keep busy indoors, the owners even supply the house with many different board games. The kitchen is large enough to cook whatever you'd like without being cramped moving from counter to counter. On our third day the sun finally showed itself and we had the opportunity to enjoy the large backyard, grilling and enjoying lunch and dinner at the picnic table. The beach is very close, within walking distance, which was quite convenient. No new guests were coming the day we departed so Tom suggested we stay all day if we'd like and we certainly took advantage, enjoying the day in the backyard once again. I can not say enough about the home or the kindness of the owners, even leaving us coffee and scones when we arrived. We will certainly be visiting next summer and look forward to our stay!

Spacious home, great location, everything we need

Your cape house is a pretty short trip from our home, which is great. Very clean, quiet and comfortable - the A/C system works well throughout the house, and with 3 TV areas, everyone found a spot to relax and watch their shows. Plenty of sheets and towels are provided, and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable (and we all liked the power units for our electronics). We didn’t need to bring lots of clothes, since we knew washing machines and a dryer was available. The refrigerator had plenty of room for everything we bought and needed to keep cool. It was a rare treat to be able to have our dogs with us- they liked exploring a new neighborhood! It’s a short trip into Hyannis- where we found a great variety of shops and restaurants that we enjoyed for breakfast, lunch and dinner all week. The Kennedy museum is also very interesting. Craigville beach is nearby, within walking distance if you wanted to take a good walk - not too crowded, and with a nice seafood place across the street with an outdoor canopy, a good lunch spot. We had a very pleasant week with our 3 boys, and plan to book another week next summer! Thanks for everything, Tom!

Nice, clean and spacious house

My family and I rented this house for a week, end of August, to spend our vacation. The whole process (booking, stay & exit) was so easy becauseTom was very quick to respond to any questions. We found the house to be nice, clean and spacious. All 4 bedrooms are upstairs (sleep 7 ppl comfortably) and a lot of space downstairs. I liked that separation, in case some of us wanted to go to sleep early and some wanted to stay up late. The house was about 20-25 min walk (normal pace) from the public beach and 10 min drive to either supermarket or Hyannis center. The living room furniture could require some upgrading, but overall everything met our expectations. We would consider renting again for future vacation plans and recommend this house to others.

Great Old Beach House

Great for multi generation vacation. Convenient to beaches, Main Street Hyannis and shopping. House was just as described, owner was quick with response and check-in was flawless. Plenty of parking and a beach pass for neighborhood beach. Nice large outdoor grill, good yard, front and back porches and a great outdoor shower. Would definitely rent again!

Great stay in a great home!

The house was perfect for our group of 7! It is located close enough to the center of town, but is still in a quiet part of town. The short distance to the water was a perfect evening stroll and there is a bigger beach just a few minutes away by car! When we arrived, the house was very clean and was stocked with more things than we imagined--pots and pans, a gas tank for the grill, and condiments for cooking! We spent much time in the back yard but the house offered many spaces for some quiet time if needed. The owners were very nice and even called the house to make sure everything was ok! I would definitely recommend staying here; it was a very nice and relaxing week!

The home was very clean and located far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get anywhere in the Barnstable area within minutes. The rooms where very spacious and the home had plenty of space for large groups. My Daughters and myself are very gracious to the owners for providing us with a large and clean home for our stay.

Great get away with lots of space

Decided to spend Thankgsiving away and this place worked out perfectly. The description was accurate, the owner was very responsive for questions etc. The house offered a semi fenced yard and was walkable to the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was various areas to get off on your own with in the house. There were lots of books and games if desired. There was a short drives to shopping etc. It is a very comfortable older home at a good price that was well maintained and clean. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

Perfect Cape Cod Home!

I searched long and hard for the perfect Cape Cod home and found it with this one! It was a beautiful, immaculately kept home, and loved the location in the Craigsville Beach area! Nice, peaceful walk to the private beach, and within a 1-2 minute drive to the town beaches. The house was so roomy, and we loved that there were games and movies for the kids. We also loved the outdoor shower and private yard space. We would definitely come back to this house again. The owner was very nice, cordial, and so responsive. Thank you again!

What makes this property unique

When my own children were small, this neighborhood was a very special place where we could escape the hustle of high tech jobs and be a family. Now my children are grown, and I offer a special experience to others in this magical place. It is like visiting grandma's house but with today's amenities. HDTV, WIFI, air conditioning, solar power, massive grill, modern kitchen, fully equipped and furnished. Very competitive rent and no hidden fees, normal cleaning included, I think you will find excellent value, no surprises, and a comfortable enjoyable vacation in a spot near the city and islands but yet feeling like a secluded beach. I look forward to welcoming you year after year.
