House we were giving directions to was not the house I booked. I booked a three bedroom but was only a two bedroom. The sheets were filthy. I was up till 3am talking to Vrbo support. Vrbo did make it right but I had to self relocate. Property manager blamed it on Vrbo.
The property was conveniently located, central to both Publix and Walmart and only 6 minutes from Parris Island Marine Base. Although the property was clean a deep clean would be beneficial. Note: renting this property will require you to bring all essentials including towels and tissue.
All in all the property was comfortable, slept the number of occupants stated in the description and served its purpose.
We stayed here for my brother’s bootcamp graduation. We booked one address but when it came time to check in, the host gave us another address which we ended up staying at. The listing is also under one name but the host gave another name. These are all red flags for me as it’s a safety risk. When I contacted the host to let her know there were some discrepancies she ignored them and said she could cancel my reservation. We ran out of toilet paper when we were there and had to message her for some, she did not respond and left 3 rolls of toilet paper (not in a bag or anything to keep them from being gross) on the front porch when we were out, so the toilet paper got moist and unusable. The place was also not clean, the floors were covered in dirt, the couch was stained, the window sills had what looked like mold on them.
I will not be staying here again and I do not recommend staying here.
I rented this home for several days for my family to be close to Parris Island for the Marines Tour/Orientation Day, Family Day, and Graduation Day. I was particularly interested in ensuring our new Marine had a perfect quiet place to sleep overnight before we got on the road to return home. Additionally, I wanted to reduce the risk of being too far away when it came to being at PI early enough to have hassle-free check-ins and good parking. It all worked out wonderfully. The house was very well kept and had basic amenities necessary to cook for ourselves rather than constantly run-around when most of our time would be consumed with being at PI. When we were able to be at the house, it was so comfortable. The simple modern decor provided a serene energy. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood felt safe. There were no disturbances. It was rather silent which, as I mentioned already, is what we hoped for. Since I love taking walks, it was also nice to discover the Spanish Moss Trail nearby and a park as well. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do for people who are seeking it. We went to one Mexican restaurant with delicious food and large portions while there. It was called La Nopalera. It was only about a 3 minute drive from the house. Returning to the topic of the property, I will definitely stay there again if I have reason to return to the area. I also highly recommend it to any other people seeking to be close to Parris Island. It was only 13 mins away.
When contacted the property manager to get the code to access the home, she asked if the previous renters could access the garage after we were in the property to get items that they left behind. I said no because it seemed awkward for a random person to access the property after we were already in it. The next day, I contacted the property manger because the tub had mold and was clogged & the shower curtain had mildew on it. It should have been properly cleaned and changed. The rug in the kitchen had tons of sand wept under it. We never visited the beach, but could have been at the beach in the kitchen. When all this was communicated to the property manager there was no response. I would never stay there again!! I went on vacation and had to clean like I was at home. Stayed from 10/21/21 to 10/25/21.

Great little get away
The location was great, very close to the beach and shops. The house was very clean. Only complaint was with the host. Host wasn’t very responsive or seem friendly. When I booked the location I wrote to the host that the family and I was coming there for vacation, No replay back from host. When we arrived, we had to ask host twice for the key code. Would had been great if he provided it to us an hour before we checked in. When we checked out I messaged the host that we were leaving, no replay back. No I hope you enjoyed your stay.
