Beautiful views in a home big enough for a large family. The cabin feel, large property and huge deck add to the greatness of the home. We saw plenty of wildlife including a doe and her fawn. Andy is an amazing host and was quick to respond during our stay. We would love to come back.
Matterhorn Meadows would get 6 stars if it were possible. We were blown away by the well maintained property, the ultra clean cabin , the gorgeous views and great location! . Andy and family were exceptional hosts and were easily accessible throughout our entire stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!.
I highly recommend this beautiful and peaceful cabin. The view of Pikes Peak from the deck was quite a treat and the inside was beautifully decorated. Thank you Andy for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin.Sandy
Amazing property. I have never rented a property where there is not one thing I can think of to improve the property or experience. Until now. The manager/owner was so helpful. He gave us great recommendations on things to do in the area. The house was impecable upon arrival, check in was easy, the location was fabulous and the views were incredible. We bought groceries to cook dinners for the week and expected to need to pick up little things but they had every cooking dish, pan, seasoning, etc that we needed. The three bedrooms were so spacious, and the bonus room downstairs was perfect for the kids. The bathrooms were also perfectly stocked. We stayed with family & friends and still were able to have our own space. Wildlife was great as well. The easiest and best experience we’ve had. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!
We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful property and can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we booked, the host's communication was top-notch—prompt, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to provide us with detailed recommendations for local activities, dining spots, and hidden gems, which made planning our trip effortless and exciting. The property itself is a dream—tucked away in a secluded, peaceful location that feels like your own private retreat. It's the perfect place to unwind, far from crowds and noise, with nothing but nature and tranquility all around.Inside, the space is impressively generous. Every room feels spacious and thoughtfully laid out, making it ideal for both quiet relaxation and group gatherings. We never felt cramped, even with a full group. One of the absolute highlights was the kitchen. It’s incredibly well-stocked—far beyond the basics you usually find in a vacation rental. There was a full range of appliances (including multiple coffee makers, crockpots, and just about anything you would need!), and every utensil or piece of cookware we could possibly need. Whether you're whipping up a quick breakfast or preparing a full family dinner, this kitchen has you covered. This place offers the perfect mix of comfort, seclusion, and hospitality. If you're looking for a serene escape with hosts who truly care about your experience, look no further. We’re already planning our return!
We immensely enjoyed our stay! Everything was so beautiful and the house had everything we needed and more! The friendly wildlife stole the show as we communed with the deer, jays, squirrels and turkeys.
Just a great place. The home is wonderful, well appointed and clean, great area to visit winter or summer to escape the world. Wonderful hosts and everything was as expected.
The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and the view of Pikes Peak was amazing. Little touches the owners thought of made it that much better. We loved being away from the towns and in the quiet hills. We would definitely stay here again.
I would highly recommend staying at Miles from Anything, In the Middle of Everything. Andy is a great host who really wants his guests to enjoy their stay and makes sure you have everything you need. The house was well stocked with things in the kitchen, bathroom, and everything else. I can’t say enough good about Andy.
Host was very accommodating and available. Cabin was luxurious and very clean and well kept. Beautiful view and close to town. Very comfortably beds as well. Not a tough drive up at all. Highly recommended!
In all reality, Matterhorn Meadows is what you would expect from a high quality VRBO in the mountains; the host, the property, the views, the location, the wildlife, the abundance of attractions within an hours drive were all phenomenal! If you are looking to stay in this area, this is the place for you!
Staying at this beautiful cabin was amazing. Our entire family loved hanging out or coming home to this peaceful cabin. There were deer, turkeys, squirrels, and chipmunks seen daily. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need - from the kitchen, laundry room, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Andy, the host, was quick to respond to any questions we had before, during, and after the stay. When we return to Colorado Springs, we will, without a doubt, stay here.
We loved our time here. The property was gorgeous. We loved seeing deer and birds. The house was very clean, roomy, and suited our needs well. Excellent communication with owner.
This property is beautiful and well stocked with anything you need for your stay! Owners were wonderful and helped with advice on the area. If we get a chance we will be back!
Secluded, scenic views, comfortable. Every thing we were hoping for. Well stocked with all we could have asked for. We would happily stay there again. No complaints at all.
We loved our stay! It’s the perfect combination of remote and convenient. The house is beautifully kept and fully stocked. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, working grill, excellent view from the patio. We rarely heard anyone around us, but enjoyed the deer, birds, rabbits, and chipmunks ! We we hope to go back!!
This is a fabulous place to stay. Very clean, well equipped. Andy was so helpful. We loved having morning coffee & evening wine on the deck watching the wildlife..
Fantastic place to stay! Everything was wonderful down to the smallest detail. Beautiful house, beautiful view and great location. It was everything we could have asked for and more. Great access to anything you could want to do. We rode horses, explored caves, rafted on the Arkansas River and visited the Royal Gorge and more. We made some wonderful memories and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Great location, incredible view of Pikes Peak, great host
Great location for day trips to Pikes Peak & Garden of the Gods, Gold Belt Scenic Tour, Royal Gorge, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and Spa. Great sunset view of Pikes Peak and gorgeous sun rises too! We had a full moon rising over Pikes Peak to top our trip off! And Natasha (the deer) was there to meet us when we arrived and was there to tell us goodbye. Great host, great place~
We loved our stay here!
The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, including a well stocked kitchen, full laundry, plenty of towels, ( not always the case with other rentals! ) and the king bed was very comfortable.
We enjoyed the view of Pike’s Peak from the living room and deck, and the stars at night are incredible!
The are many places to hike, and we really enjoyed the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument just a short distance away.
We loved the peace and quiet, the wildlife, and the gorgeous scenery, and we hope to be back!
Exactly what we were looking for! Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but close to everything with all the desired amenities. The hospitality is off the chart. The house had everything we needed. The wildlife around the house is so friendly and relaxing. The views are amazing. . It was just perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matterhorn Meadows. The description is spot on and the cabin is very clean and well appointed. It's a great mix of "cabin in the woods" but with all of the modern conveniences (and then some) that you could want. We are frequent VRBO renters, and the owners go far and above the typical hosts by providing many staple items. We highly recommend Matterhorn Meadows for your next trip to the mountains!
