Great little place to get away. It’s about 25 minutes to the south end of the reservoir and 35 minutes away from the north marina. The roads leading up to the house can be a bit bumpy so be prepared for that but really nice place to get away.

Very clean, had everything we needed. It might be a bit tough for some kids to stay there as there are a lot of tabletop decorations, there’s no bath tub, and the beds are really tall. But there are also lots of throw blankets and pillows!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We loved drinking our coffee and eating our meals on the beautiful deck. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening. We loved the chipmunks and hummingbirds all around. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Beautiful place. Inside and out. We will be going back to this one.

Totally loved this place. We were able to detox and relax like we wanted for our anniversary. The hot tub and views and modern kitchen sealed the deal for us.

Beautiful, remote, secluded property with wonderful hosts. Great spot to see all the sites and still retreat to the country setting. Bring a jeep or 4x4 it's off some unpaved roads with gorgeous views along the way. Total Glamping experience! All the comfort of home in the back country.Make sure you take screenshots of the directions and WiFi info. We lost service long before we got on the dirt roads, and lost directions on Waze a few minutes from the house and had to and had to drive all the way back to Florissant to get service and take the screenshots. Lol! Also no cell service at the cabin and I couldn't get to the VRBO site to get wifi password the first night. My mistake but maybe post the password in the cabin. We loved how quiet it was and all the wildlife we saw deer, elk, hawks and countless other birds. The cabin and country side were beautiful. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great spot for a quiet get away! Only complaint would be there is no storage space for clothing and you will need to bring hangers for the closets. Otherwise the unit was great! Comfortable bed, amenities and close to our favorite fishing spot!

Our stay at this Rocky Mountain cabin stay was the perfect escape. The living room and kitchen are open to each other so it made it feel much larger. The fully equipped kitchen had all the essentials needed, which was much appreciated. Both the master bedroom and spare bedroom had very comfortable beds!! Both my son and grandson absolutely LOVED the HUGE movie pillow! I thoroughly enjoyed the very large deck on the front of the house. It was a perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning and just listen to the birds and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Another plus was the hot tub that we relaxed in after our time going to see Pikes Peak, Seven Falls, Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods. The cabin was only 30-60 minutes from the sites we went and explored.The hosts were wonderful and communication was great! From the moment I stepped into their beautiful home, I knew I'd be back! While the road off the highway to get to the cabin, is quite bumpy (lots of washboards on the gravel), it was well worth it once we saw the cabin.We can't wait to come back again. Thanks so much for your hospitality!!
