our review

the house itself is very spacious and is in fact, 2 apartments with two front doors, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms and one large lounge. this suited us fine but may not be so good for those that have young children. the games room is good and has a further shower and loo. The house is near to beautiful Sarlat, just over half a mile away ( but uphill all the way back!). Some of the interior needs attention, such as the shower screen, loo seat, sink and bath tap. We could only get the lounge TV to work occasionally and the bedroom TVS had no signal at any time. ( a caretaker did come out to us about it but the issue was not resolved) written instructions for all the electrical items would have been very useful, oven, microwave, cooker, sauna and TV. Couldnt open the safe so had to take all the money with us all the time. Outside, the pool is large, clean and very private which we loved. The BBQ was in a disgusting state, very dirty and the logs in it even had moss growing so must have been left unused for many months. Needs replacing. there was no grass or lawn at all, only very overgrown weeds and so not suitable for children to play. The tables were also very dirty. the sunbeds ( 6) were old and the covers stained and only 2 sunshades, also very faded All in all, we were disappointed and feel the house was very over priced. the outside area is very important and this let the place down. the house could be lovely and is near to many beautiful and interesting places to visit.
