Pretty cabin with beautiful natural scenery! Clean and comfortable. The Christmas decorations were a touching extra! Really pleased, no complaints. Close drive to restaurants and shopping.
Overall I enjoyed my stay the house was clean and decorated beautifully. There was also a really nice creek near the property and the views in the morning were gorgeous! However the drive to get there was very confusing and we became lost. I would highly suggest using an SUV or off road type vehicle because it can get very steep and the road turns into a single car only situation that became a little scary at times. Also please be aware that this cabin doesn’t have WIFI but there is a cable tv where I was able to watch television as needed! I enjoyed my time.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful decor, the peaceful creek nearby, and those stunning morning views. It sounds like a truly special getaway. We appreciate your helpful feedback about the drive and the road conditions. Your suggestion to use an SUV or off-road vehicle is valuable information for future guests. Also, thank you for noting the absence of WiFi and the availability of cable TV, it's great that you were still able to enjoy your favorite shows during your stay. We’re glad you had a wonderful time overall, and we hope to welcome you back to another Vacasa home soon.
The cabin was darling-cozy, spotless and very cute. The view was unbelievable- on the mini-rapids of a crystal clear creek. Gorgeous home and gorgeous property. It’s very close to Blue Ridge-close enough to run into town for a quick errand or for dinner. Booking was very easy, the price for 2 nights was extremely reasonable and the property manager is willing to go above and beyond to make guests comfortable. Wish I could give more stars! We’ll be back and I’ve already recommended to others!
This place was the perfect way to just get away and relax. Have your coffee, sit on the porch and disconnect. Listen to nature and that wonderful creek. So wonderful to just get away from it all. The cabin is very cozy, I will recommend to others.

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed and it gets better each time. It’s such a relaxing, serene location. The improvements to the fire pit area also are beautiful!!!

Quaint cabin
Quaint little cabin with great location on Fighting Town creek. Truly no internet service and cell service, but nice to disconnect from those. We tubed down the creek and went on a fishing guided tour about an hour away. McCaysville city center is only about 5 mins from the cabin, Mercier Orchards is about 10 mins, and Blue Ridge is 20-30 mins.

Nice little cabin
Able to fish off the deck and catch trout. No internet and the selection on the dish was not good so download movies before you go.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful
We loved the quaint cabin, the loft was wonderful for our kids to have their own beds. The creek was so peaceful. The kitchen was well-equipped. The fireplace was perfect (just remember to bring a lighter/matches because one is not provided). The bed in the master bedroom needs to be updated, it was very worn and springy and pretty uncomfortable. Other than that we could not recommend this place more!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Tracey; it is a pleasure to hear you enjoyed the great views and location of the home during your visit. Thank you for sharing your feedback and bringing some items, like the bed, to our attention that may need some updates. We will be sure to pass your suggestions along to our local manager, who will work with our homeowner to make the necessary upgrades. We truly hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future.
This beautiful, cozy cabin was perfect for our stay. Lovely location in front of a stream (you can see rainbow trout swimming), The only sounds are those of the stream's running water over the rocks below the cabin's balcony. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this will fit the bill, but you may need a 4WD vehicle to get to it! Note: there is no wi-fi, cell service, washer/drier or dishwasher. If you "need" those, look elsewhere. For us it was perfect.

Beautiful, quaint cabin. Kitchen is fully equipped. The mattress in the master needs to be replaced, it is very uncomfortable. There was plenty of firewood but nothing to light it with. We would definitely stay here again. The sound of the creek was so peaceful and we loved not having internet and being able to play all the games provided and fish off the deck with the provided pole. Thank you

Tumbling run
The bed downstairs is so uncomfortable. They need a new mattress. You roll into the middle of the bed. Also they need better TV channels. They used to have TV channels that people actually watch but I guess they decided to go with the cheapest package. The new outdoor patio was beautiful. The view and sound of the water was amazing as well.
Our stay here definitely exceeded expectations. We wanted a weekend to disconnect and decompress, and this cozy cabin did just the trick! Well equipped with all the essentials and then some. Nicely decorated and super clean overall. The flowing creek was very relaxing to sit next to on the porch swing or light a fire out at the fire pit.
We were hesitant to see how comfortable the bed actually was after seeing a few previous reviews criticizing the comfort, but it seemed like a decent mattress pad had at least been added, so the bed was certainly comfortable for us.
The dirt/gravel road getting to the cabin was navigable, but we were certainly thankful we had an awd suv. A lower front wheel drive car might have a bit more of a challenge with parts of the road, but might still make it. The description also said there’s room for two small cars to park, but turning around with another car there would definitely be a challenge. It took a little bit to figure out how to best turn our full size suv around the first time, but it was fine after that.
The only real critique was that the septic/plumbing lines would very quickly get overloaded to where the toilet would no longer flush. After sitting overnight or all day while out, we could get two full flushes in, but that would be about it. The sinks and shower would always drain fine, but running either of those would quickly take away potential good flushes. Hopefully that can get fixed, because we’d love to stay again!
