This is the 4th time we rent this cabin. It is our favorite one in the area for our type of life style. Between the quiet setting, the hot tub, and the location for what we do in town, it is our go to! When it is available we always book it!
This small cabin is a little get away from the world. Peaceful on a small brook where you can just sit and relax ..enjoy the hot tub or just sit on porch.
The home was beautiful. Sitting on the porch watching and listening to the creek was just the relaxation we needed. It is also centrally located in short driving distances to several gorgeous views and waterfalls in Georgia and Tennessee. The property was clean and perfect for our enjoyment
The house and scenery were beautiful, relaxing, in a great location & had all the things we needed. Having the river behind the house was great. We all loved the hot tub as well. We do wish the landscaping had been trimmed so that it was easier to walk outside. The ceiling fan in the loft was a little annoying and my husband cut his foot on a piece of glass in the dining room floor. There were TV’s but we were unable to get access to our streaming channels … not necessarily a bad thing if you are there to unplug. All is all it was a good rental and would probably stay again given the need.
Beautiful rustic cabin with a small waterfall right out the back door. Looking at the outside of the cabin, it looks small but the inside of the cabin is very roomy. Has a musty smell but that's to be expected since its all wood and an old cabin. I just lit candles and had room spray. The only thing i didn't like and there's nothing the owners can do about it, are the spiders. I don't like spiders. They are expected to be there because the cabin is old, real wood and the cabin is built in the woods. The location is so convenient to everything. Just minutes away but also away from the noise. I would definitely recommend this cabin. I would also stay here again, even with the spiders
We live in a subdivision which was great for raising kids. But at this point in our lives we needed a getaway from loud cars, sirens, barking dogs and everything else that goes with subdivision living. This place was perfect. At the end of a dead end gravel road. No outside noises. Just the sound of the running creek water. Added bonuses were the fire pit and the hammock and the hot tub and the two grills next to the rocking chairs on the back porch, all overlooking the creek. What else could you possibly need for total relaxation. For us, we needed nothing else.
Perfect for our family of 4. The creek is just wonderful, and the outdoor shower and hot tub make the back porch area the highlight of the stay. A great place to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The host Teresa was very prompt to respond to any questions and very nice. Conveniently located to nearby Mercier Orchards & downtown BlueRidge we felt tucked away and secluded but also close to all the fun. We rented kayaks at Lake Blue Ridge and enjoyed Cohutta Cove mini-golf & gem mining and of course rode the Blue Ridge railway. Lots to do and great to relax at the cabin after a fun day. If you’re up for a short 30 min drive to Murphy NC the Fields of the Wood was really cool.
If I could give this property 10 stars I would! If you are looking for quiet and secluded yet only minutes from Blue Ridge and Ellijay this is the place for you. It was a perfect relaxing weekend and VERY CLEAN! Book now before your dates are taken.
The cabin is very pretty inside and the furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The real jewel of this location is the creek out back!! Whether you want to cool off in it or sit on the back porch and listen to it, it makes the stay perfect. The property location is very secluded, but conveniently close to both Blue Ridge and McCaysville.
This cabin had everything we needed and the surroundings were amazing. Sights of blooming flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds, enhanced by the sounds of birds, bumble bees, and the rushing water were like salve to my soul. was hard to leave. Can imagine this is a great place during every season!leave! Consuder
Everything was wonderful. The view, the home itself and close proximity to shopping and all things touristy. Only small issue is the driveway is narrow and winding and we drive a full size 2500. It was tight but doable. Overall our stay was a 10. We loved it and hope to come back. We drive a full size 2500 and it was tight.
My wife and I stayed at this cabin for our annual anniversary weekend. It was everything advertised and more. We highly recommend it to anyone considering.
My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. The creek is loud so you can easily hear it when sitting on the deck. Fire pit and Hottub both added to the relaxation. Saw deer every morning of our stay. If you're looking to relax in nature, this is the perfect place and we'll be back (with our kids next time!)
