Riccardo’s apartment was the perfect place especially if you want to get out of the busyness of Milan. It’s quiet and private which makes it easy to relax, especially after a day of walking. The apartment is across the street from the metro which is convenient to get everywhere. Riccardo was a great host and let us drop off our luggage early. Thank you for everything!

Exactly as described! The owner/manager lives in the apartment next-door and when we arrived he was right there to meet us! My daughter can’t sleep without a fan on her and there was no fan so he went and got one. He was very accommodating and very quick with communication! The M4 blue Metro line was maybe 100 feet from the front door which was awesome, too! We absolutely would stay again. Recommended wholeheartedly!

Nice apartment in a good location

We stayed at this apartment for one week and had a very pleasant stay. The apartment is very conveniently located, close to the metro station and just 4 stops away from the main city centre where the cathedral is located. A great little apartment outside of the busy tourist area of Milano centro. Convenient location, close to subway line and just a tram ride away from the Duomo. A number of local restaurants are within walking distance of the apartment along with coffee bars and grocery stores. The owner provided excellent communications and was helpful with local information and maps.

Milan long weekend

Very clean apartment with good public transport links. Supermarket and bakery within walking distance. The host was very responsive to any queries we had before arrival. He met us at the apartment on arrival and gave us good recommendations for travel to the city centre and to the airport at the end of our stay.

Riccardo is the perfect host. He was very communicative throughout the entire process and even provided point by point directions on how to get from Milano Centrale station to the apartment (which is located across the street from a metro stop on a tree lined street). Since the property was empty he allowed access earlier than usual, which was a surprise I didn't expect and for which I was grateful. He provided suggestions for local cafe/bars, and points of interest. The apartment is a good size for 2-3 people with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, and the pillows were plump and equally comfortable. The a/c unit is in the bedroom/living area, yet was able to cool the entire place if the door remains open. The kitchen is a good size; the bathroom and shower was bigger than I expected. The building has a working elevator which I put to use after blazing days of exploration. The only (temporary) negative which is unavoidable was noise from renovations to the upstairs apartment. This was obvious during the day Friday when I arrived but it ended by 4pm and didn't happen over the weekend. If you need to sleep during the weekday, this might not be the best option for you. Otherwise, I would choose Riccardo and this apartment again without hesitation.

The greatest asset of this apartment is its location. The Metro is literally across the street, making it easy to reach most of Milan's attractions by metro, train, bus, or even on foot. We especially appreciated being within walking distance of Giuseppe Verdi's tomb and Casa Verdi.The apartment is in an older building with plenty of character and charm. It offers enough space for a couple, even though there is also a pull-out sofa. The bathroom was functional and comfortable, and the washing machine worked well and was useful during our stay.The kitchen is adequately furnished and laid out, although a microwave would have been a welcome addition. There was no television when we arrived, but after asking, the host promptly provided one.Overall, this is a good value for the money, particularly for travelers who prioritize location, public transportation access, and a comfortable base from which to explore Milano.

L’hôte répondait très vite aux messages et nous a permis d’arriver plus tôt que prévu. L’appartement est plus grand que nous pensions, confortable et propre. L’accès au centre est facile. Il manquait quelques éléments dans la cuisine (surtout pour de courts séjours) pour rendre ça plus pratique, comme du café, de l’huile ou du poivre, mais les équipements (couverts, chaudrons, etc) étaient adéquats. La climatisation ne pouvait pas être réglée à une température plus basse que 25 degrés. Le stationnement est très difficile à trouver (comme partout à Milan) avec un nombre de places gratuites limitées.
