The host was extremely nice and helpful. The place was like new and very clean. I would highly recommend this place to my friends close to everything yet you feel very secluded.
Property was just what we needed for our short trip to Orlando. Very well-equipped and clean in a quiet location. Host was great, communication was awesome. Great location for Disney and Universal. Just off the I 4.
Fantastic, immaculate and beautiful! Wonderful host! Bed was comfortable, and the space was very nicely equipped with what we needed. Highly recommend! Cant wait to come back!
The cottage is such a cute backyard property in a very nice neighborhood. The space was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable for our 3 day stay. The owner was very pleasant and attentive. Loved the bedside chocolates:) We hope to return!
My husband and I stayed at Connies’s cottage for 3 nights while visiting family. The cottage is beautifully furnished, very clean and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Great location - convenient to Winter Park, UCF and Disney. Connie was a great host and very responsive. Would def book again!
Property is nestled behind a nicely built little house in a back yard. The location is near I-4 as well as Orlando proper and Winter Park. It was very comfortable with everything provided that one would need for cooking, as well as a nice outside covered porch. Quiet and relaxing. Also adjacent to a public golf course.
I was looking for a place to do an online silent retreat, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The place was clean, quiet, had great WiFi and everything else I needed, and is located in a great walking neighborhood. It’s also very close to stores if you need any last minute items you may have forgotten. Thank you Connie for making sure I had such a great stay!
Overall a good stay that’s central to visiting Winter Park or downtown Orlando. The WiFi didn’t work my first week and cell service was spotty so my personal hotspot didn’t work as a backup. After the WiFi extender was added during my second week, there were unfortunately a couple of times where the internet would slow down so I couldn’t video conference or use the Roku. More cups/plateware/utensils would be a nice addition to avoid having to wash dishes or run the dishwasher so often. You will need to bring your own soap, toilet paper/paper towels for longer stays — no hand soap + one roll of toilet/paper towel. While I can’t recommend it for long stays or a business traveler/working remotely (only 2G is available in the unit), I think it would be a nice landing place for short vacations.

Jackie, thanks for taking time to leave this review. I would like to clarify for future guests that the wifi issue will be completely fixed 8/15 as well as the following:
1) I was immediately responsive to Jackie’s multiple messages throughout her stay about the wifi not working. Jackie used the cottage as a place to work remotely and needed reliable video conferencing etc. Unfortunately, the extender failed during her stay. On top of that, it is no longer supported in updates. As such, I had the network guy come to the house as soon as he had availability so we could find a solution. It is important to note that until Jackie’s stay, not one guest has complained about the wifi since about 1.5 years ago when the first outdoor extender failed (and which I had replaced immediately during that guest’s stay).
2) I’m spending $800+ on an mesh system and it will be completely installed 8/15, with the secondary unit being installed outside in a weather proof box (moved from inside the house where it was placed temporarily…and possibly why it was spotty a couple of time for Jackie after initial install). Once the secondary unit is installed outside (closer to the cottage w/out barriers), the cottage will have more than sufficient wifi for vacationers and it should allow for video conferencing etc for those who need to do work during their stay.
3) The kitchen is fully furnished with above average pots/pans utensils, knives, glassware and tableware settings for 4 (the cottage is a 2-person cottage). Dish soap is provided (it seems someone took the Palmolive soap I had as a backup under the sink for when the Myers soap on the counter ran out) as well as dishwasher detergent. I also provide laundry detergent and bleach. If you run out during your stay, it is the guest’s responsibility let me know as there is no daily cleaning service (however, cleaning supplies are also provided in the event they are needed).
4) For each new guest, there's a starter roll of paper towels for kitchen, one of toilet paper and a starter bar of soap for the bathroom.
5) If you’re a guest considering staying at the cottage for your vacation, please know that I do my very best to create a comfortable vacation spot, and am very responsive to questions and concerns. All verified via the other reviews here and on Airbnb.
This was a perfect place for us. We were visiting my parents in Orlando and the location was perfect! It's also tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on a golf course - which made for some awesome morning and evening strolls. We loved it here - clean, cozy with enough room, super friendly and organized host! We'd stay here again for sure!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The owner Connie was a good morning walking partner for me and gave us a few ideas of what to do and where to go. The place is modern, clean and perfect for 2. It’s a hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood yet not far from great places to eat or shop! If I was to return to Orlando I would definite stay again!
Everything was excellent. We had our own little private cottage that has everything we needed. Having our own kitchen and dining table was super convenient. Very clean and almost brand new. Owner Connie was a great host making check in and our entire stay super easy. Great communication. Loved having the yard available to sit and relax on the patio. Highly recommend.
Adorable and super clean, nice, little cottage for a couple to stay at!
So clean! Everything is like new. Owner provides all the things you would think of needing, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent…. We would stay there again gladly!
Connie was SUCH an amazing host; friendly, communicative, and just lots of fun to talk with! My husband and I stayed at her beautiful casita over Christmas, and couldn't have enjoyed it more. It was ample space for the two of us, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay. It is perfectly located in College Park, and we loved getting to walk around the beautiful neighborhood. Needless to say, we are already planning our return trip next year!
