The key cards constantly wouldn’t work for our room and we had to get new ones several times. We didn’t realize it was a hotel we were staying at. Breakfast was a nice perk. Room layout was great. Kitchen did not include cooking skillets unfortunately.

inaccurate photos

New photos need to be taken of the property and it was not a condo like it was listed. It was just a hotel room at Staybridge Suites. Way over priced. Much cheaper to just go through the hotel. Over charged with VRBO fees.

Disappointing and Dirty

When we arrived to check in, there was a loud, verbal altercation taking place in the parking lot. My husband and I did not feel very safe walking our children into the property. Our room was worn out and dirty. Walking in, I noticed an off smell. I found a piece of dog food/kibble on the floor next to one bed. Hair in the silverware tray. Hair in the bathtub. Stains on carpet and furniture. The pull-out had a large blood stain on the mattress. I did not feel comfortable letting one of my children sleep there so they shared the second bedroom. Even if it had been clean, the pull-out mattress was so thin and worn, even a child would have been uncomfortable. Perhaps worst of all, when we returned to the property at about 7:45pm on the second night, the door to our room was propped open. Housekeeping had been to the room and I'm sure they just left it open by mistake, but it was VERY troubling to come back and find the room had been open to anyone all day long. Thankfully nothing was taken. I had checked a map and knew this going in, but this location is not convenient to UW or the Capital. It's about a 20 minute drive to city center. We're very active people, and I'd walk before driving whenever possible. This is not a walkable property. It's surrounded by busy streets, chain restaurants, and stripmalls.

Overall great stay while touring UW-Madison

Overall great property. It was very clean, and was in a very good part of town. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner on a couple of nights. My only criticism (and it's extremely minor) is that the water pressure in the shower was low. However, I know that is not uncommon in places that have several rooms within the property. Enjoyed the stay there, and would definitely stay again.
