Cleary Lane Lodge offers guests a chance to relax and unwind in a charming, well maintained 4 bedroom, 3 bath brick home located in a tranquil wooded setting. Perfect for a couple or family getaway, or when in town for reunions, graduations or weddings. Ideal location for corporate or temporary housing for 1 to 8 people. NEW for reservations beginning 9/1/23... FIRST floor master bedroom and bath.
Outside expect to see deer, turkey, and most likely hear a rooster crow while inside you will enjoy a tastefully decorated interior with all the comforts of home: high speed internet with smart TVs. Cozy up by the gas fireplace in the large living room with 65" flat screen tv, or enjoy family time around the 6 person dining table in the lower level kitchen-dining area with outdoor patio, grille and fire pit.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a Keurig & drip coffee maker, microwave, stove, dishwasher, service for 8, spices & pantry items, and a stackable washer & dyer. Each of the 4 bedrooms has premium bed linens & flat screen tv; king tempurpedic in master, pillow top queen beds in 2 bedrooms and a Serta twin daybed & twin trundle in the 3rd bedroom. The lower level family room has a comfortable Twin Daybed used as a sofa, with a twin trundle underneath. Both the upstairs and downstairs trundles are recommended for children, not adults. With a library of books for kids & adults, games, puzzles, and DVDs. You will find plenty to do inside & out with yard games including corn hole & croquet.

Whether you’re looking for the great outdoors or a quaint main street town steeped in history, nearby Zelienople and Harmony offer both.  WIth a thriving food and beverage scene, specialty shops, boutiques, yoga studios, and museums, Zelienople and neighboring Harmony have much to offer. Located in the rural suburbs of Pittsburgh, this Butler County town provides is the perfect escape from city life; from the hiking trails and historical houses to the microbreweries and eateries, this is truly something for everyone

We were here for a “girls” week. Linda and Coltyn were exceptional hosts. They were quick to respond to all our old lady requests.The house is gorgeous beautiful bedrooms the master suite is lovely. The outside patio where we enjoyed our morning coffee We did a lot of sightseeing in Pittsburgh and the surrounding area and it was lovely coming home to that relaxed setting The kitchen was very well stocked. There was really nothing we needed that wasn’t there. We would definitely go back. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home.

Wonderful Stay

Zelienople Long Weekend

We had an amazing long weekend at this location. The home was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was quick to respond to a question we had and very helpful. This house is nicely tucked away but within close driving distance to downtown. Overall, all positives!

Family Reunion

Linda was a gracious host. We only spent evenings and mornings there, as we were obligated to be at other locations for family functions. But the house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the house was well stocked. And there were plenty of towels! We appreciated that. It was a lovely visit.

It met our needs. My parents needed one floor living and walk in shower. They only had to walk downstairs for dinner. (The bar stools weren't very comfortable on main floor)

Best Thanksgiving ever

This was a well kept property with the pictures and descriptions exactly as depicted. Room for the kids to play and nice to have the space to host Thanksgiving. Host kept us updated on an issue with boiler, but it didn't mar our stay. Will definitely make this our first choice when we go back to visit.

Weekend of SCCA National Time Trials Pitt Race

Came with 2 friends to participate in 3 days of track time at Pittsburgh International Race Complex. Location was an easy :25 drive, was clean, well equipped, ample off road parking, and Linda was very easy to communicate with. When we asked for another night she couldn’t because it was previously reserved but she had another place nearby that offered a uniquely refreshing and local feel to end the trip.

Graduation Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property while in town for our daughter’s graduation! Communication with host was smooth. House provided plenty of room for our party of 7 as well as a graduation dinner one evening where we had 12 in the home. There were plenty of utensils, plates, cups, serving dishes/utensils and even paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent and dishwasher pods. If I had any critique it would be the awkward lip going down into the master bedroom and also up in the master bath. I smacked my toes on the lip going out of the bedroom into the kitchen when I was moving quickly on the first day which left bruises (definitely a self correcting problem!) It looks like the owners remodeled a garage and turned it into a master suite which would explain the level changes. The location was nice and quiet rural residential. We found this required a 45-60 minute drive to get to the downtown area every day for various events including graduation, shopping, picking up catering and graduation cake. This did eat up some time for us and something to be aware of if most of your plans take you in or around the downtown area. Overall, we had a great stay!

Great Location, Great Setting

The house was situated in a private sylvan setting with the location near enough for all of the activities that we wanted to experience. Pittsburgh was 30 minutes, visited PNC park for Pirates game, Kennywood park for fun amusement rides, Carnegie Science Center, and pierhogies. Zelienople was my home town so much recreation of childhood memories and meeting up with old friends for my Seneca Valley HS reunion and a visit to McConnell's Mills, Baldinger's,Young's and Brown's. The hostess was flexible, attentive and took care of needs with immediate response. The kids could go outside and play in the yard safely. (Rain precluded our outdoor fire!). We saw wildlife daily.

Quiet Home Near Pittsburgh (25 min to ball parks)

We were lucky to have 3 days of perfect weather here…60’s and sunny. Toured Pittsburgh with friends who live there…well worth going into for the games, but also museums, shows, etc! Our main reason to stay was to see two shows of The Celtic Tenors who were singing two nights at the delightful Strand Theater in Zelianople. Fantastic! Easy 10 minutes. Cranberry, 5-10 minutes has everything you want…great restaurants, too! The house itself was a bit difficult for us since we’re in our 80’s ( as was one of the couple who joined us one night,) and the stairs are shallow to go up to two bedrooms there and the Main bedroom has a short step down to the room and one to go up to the bathroom. The owner did provide an excellent nightlight that helped, but even at that, we had several episodes of “almost” falling. Probably this would be good to mention in the description…”not good for elderly or disabled.” All that aside, makings for s’mores and campfire wood for the outside firepit were supplied, but it was too cold. Also there’s plenty of condiments and coffee/tea. We loved having filtered water in the refrigerator! Very comfy beds and bedding! (The pizza place and frozen custard place 1/2 mile away are both excellent!!!)

We were very happy with the house, and the location was great for exploring and shopping the area. We were there to watch hockey games, and the Lemieux Center was only 10 minutes away. Coltyn was very accommodating and helpful.We had a wonderful stay! Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful with every amenity. We love this property. Perfectly clean with little deer visitors snacking in the back yard. It has anything you need at your fingertips to make your stay enjoyable, easy, convenient. Hosts are so very nice and help with requests and inquiries. All shops, restaurants, etc. within minutes. We usually go to Cranberry TWP for this and that’s where the grandchildren live. We will certainly reach out to stay again. This home goes well beyond five stars in our opinion.

We visited Zelienople for a golf trip built around attending the US Open at Oakmont and playing golf in the area. The house was located in a very quiet area that was also remarkably close to the highway. This was very convenient as each of our day trips took us in different directions. The house was very clean and a relaxing refuge each evening after long days in the sun.

Lovely Comfortable Roomy Home

Truly a lovely, comfortable, roomy home! So often houses that can sleep a large number don't have the bathrooms to accomodate everyone well, but with 3 full baths, this house is a gem. Our family was in Pittsburgh for our daughter's wedding and this was a wonderful home away from home. Clean, comfortable, tucked away from the bustle of Pittsburgh yet convenient to church and reception venue. Check-in and check-out instructions were complete and clear.Wonderful Stay!

Stunning

If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s convenient to so many places in this area this is the place for you. The house is beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable, we all slept very well. There’s plenty of room for a family and equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this property the first time I saw it. There is a definite feeling of seclusion and woodland privacy in a very comfortable 60's style brick lodge. Every season is beautiful and wildlife abound- as the deer, turkey, squirrels and chipmunks scamper throughout the 1 1/2 acre grounds. Cleary Lane is the best of both worlds... a peaceful, quiet location yet close to all the conveniences of shopping, small towns and larger city (Pittsburgh).

What makes this property unique

3 levels of zoned living space provide privacy and space. Nearby Zelienople and Harmony are charming main street towns where time seems to slow down as you stroll through the local shops with great restaurants, pubs, craft breweries, even a local theater with live shows and movies.
